Just a reminder The Canby Show is tomorrow . This is in Canby Oregon and it is a all Datsun and Z show. I thought someone from the Club putting on the show would have posted the information as a reminder . But since they haven't Come one Come all if you are in the area . It's going to be a vary good show. As it has been the past three years. Gary

First let me preface this by saying this is for those of us (who like me) take a little longer to figure things out! :stupid: So anyway, I've been using Craigslist almost since the beginning and have always been frustrated by the lack of ability to do a nationwide search on their site. Having to go to each state, then city, then category to input the item your looking for and then back to start the process all over again, is tiresome to say the least. Sometimes it's just the simple things that work. For example..Google "1969 Datsun" and you'll get almost 17,000 hits. Now try "1969 Datsun" craigslist and you're down to 248 hits. Much easier to find these: 1) http://fre…

Hello, I am a producer with the Discovery Channel and I wanted to let you know about some new features on our Turbo Website, which is about automobiles, motorcycles, boats and airplanes. We recently started a new feature at the website which allows visitors to submit a photo of their automobile or motorcycle to our Daily Ride blog. Once we put the photo of your vehicle on the site other visitors can vote on it and once a month the vehicle with the most votes will be featured on Turbo’s homepage: http://turbo.discovery.com If you decide to participate you’ll want to let your friends and family members know so that they will drop by and vote on your ride. To submit your…

If you've never browsed the Jalopnik site, do so - it's pretty funny. I recently saw two 240Z articles, the follow-up posts are neat: http://jalopnik.com/381927/the-denver-iron-keeps-coming-early-datsun-240z http://jalopnik.com/386439/1980s-new-jersey-time-capsule-19k+mile-datsun-240z-could-be-yours The second post is really a trip, but the first one shows how much appreciation there is for older Z's...

Hey guys, I'm currently in my final year of product design engineering, for which I am to develop a product which has a social or environmental benefit. From looking at current mobility products, i have found that they do not promote continual exercise, instead encourage users to be "lazy", ie. owners can not walk at all if they know they will eventually need their scooter/golf cart/segway, resulting in them experiencing no exercise. The proposed product is an electronically powered mobility assistant, which can be used as both a walking frame and ride-on unit. The product will be small and lightweight, allowing it to be easily loaded and transported in a car, unlike curr…

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24882071/ This is sad, every time I see someone like him pass away I see my childhood, he was just hilarious with Tim Conway in the Carol Burnett show and he was just classic in Blazing Saddles forever Hedley Lamarr

Well, upon ordering a new driver's side seat belt for my 1972 240z through this website: http://www.carbodyparts.net They are actually US Auto Parts Network, and I even called them to make sure that the seat belt I ordered was the right one. Received it today, and it wasn't even close. It was a universal 2pc retractable belt. Well, I gave them a call, and they are going to give me a refund, but not on the shipping and handling, when the S&H is half of the item itself. I will be going to the BBB website later and putting in a complaint in hopes of getting the refund on the S&H itself. And believe me, I tried to get that refunded also. Stay away from these peopl…

With regard to Arne completing the unload of the yellow car, I want to give you all the phone number for Danny's Datsuns in Sutherlin Oregon who is moving toward closing the doors by some time this summer. He is working down his inventory (read HIGH scrap prices) by pairing down some of the newer models first. The number is 541-430-1180. He works a job so the off hours might work best for contact. Here's hoping for a 500 that doesn't come off looking like a cluster!!
