I went to pick up my freshly lined fuel tank for my 01-71 this afternoon, at a place in Auburn (right next to the train tracks) called ServiceCenter Radiator, and while shooting the breeze with a guy who seemed to be the owner, he tosses out, "I haven't seen one of those things for YEARS, but this week, I get two on the same day." Who and where are you? BTW, the whole boil, seal with Red Coat, exterior paint and warrantee costs $165. It looks AWESOME!! They just had to install a small bung and plug in the shallow end corner in order to drain the excess. HOPEFULLY this will be the end to my sudden loss of power, hesitation frustrations.

I returned your email but it bounced. Please send me a pm or resend me an email. My friend is still interested in your bumper pieces. BTW, your email was returned with "fatal errors." NOTE TO MODERATORS: I wasn't sure where to put this, I figured this area would be the less intrusive and might still find the message sender. Thanks, Paul

The car club I belong to, (The All Classic Motor Club), ran a speedo check for the members today. My participation called for a 100 km round trip but it was worth it as my little "Precious" was in bad need of a good run. (For a change, the rear carby didn't flood once):classic: The club used a hand held speed gun and large digital readout so drivers could see for themselves what speed they were doing. We do the speedo check once a year on a usually quiet stretch of road on the south side of Rockhampton (Central Queensland). There were quite a few surprised drivers, including me. I knew "Precious" was travelling slower than the speedo read but I was sure surprised just h…

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey all.....My name is Chris.... not really sure what to say here. I've always wanted a "Z", but never seemed to find the time or car that grabbed my attention. That all changed recently..... I was scrolling through a local "used.com" site and found a guy that is selling 4 1974-1978 "Z" cars. His father bought them all from the local Datsun dealer where he was a mechanic. I'm kinda stoked, but not sure what I need to look at...as in which one would be the better buy. I'm almost toying with buying all 4, just because! The one I first saw, and spent most of the time drooling over is a 1974 260Z…

Well, on the showy night of April 18th, 2008 here in Washington, I was in an accident. Going down a hill in Lynnwood, someone was following me too closely, and I was going about 20mph, and I was not able to slow down in time because of the SUV behind, flashing me with high beams and what not, and I lost control, slid to where the LH side was facing a median, and up I went. I'm thankful the I was only doing as slow as I was, and was able to keep some control during the slide up onto the median. I'll take pictures to where all this happened. By the way, no damage I was able to see right away on the car. However, if I wasn't wearing my seat belt, I would of hit my head o…

Today at noon I finished putting a 83 l28, with Ztherapy su's and a n33 intake. I also cut all the junk off the balance tube and welded all the holes, then ground welds down and polished the tube and intakes. I was in heaven when my 73 240z fire right up on the 1st try. I spent the rest of the afternoon going nowhere fast, and fine tuning everything. Wow what a smooth power-plant. Alot of what I did was researched on this site. Thanks so much for the time many of you have spent over the years sharing your ideas and information. Digging for the ghost of past Z's and reading about what makes a great car better has made this a journey to treasure. Jon

So tonight was a big car show for all Classic cars. It is held in my hometown of Redding Ca. Most of the cars are big muscle beefy mustyangs, cameros, corvettes etc. But I got to drive me sweet little 240Z car around and I was proud. Got lot of compliments on it too. One guy thought I had a V8 in mine . There was only 1 other Z in the whole car show. Gotta love the Z cars!!

http://www.nabshow.com http://www.nab.org Anyone going to the National Association of Broadcasters convention in Las Vegas this year, or am I the only (future) broadcaster on the board? Last year I couldn't go due to monetary issues, but this year I was given the opportunity to intern with Sony-and they are paying all the bills (minus gambling money, of course). Anyway, I'll be in Vegas from the 11th to the 17th, should be a helluva good time. Hope to see some of you there-just drop by the Sony booth and ask for the oldest Western Carolina University intern...
