Any Value?

Digging through some post divorce clutter trying to make room for a new life I've come across about a years worth of Z Club Bulletins Jan 82-83 from the Z Club of America and some old Bob Sharp racing catalogs probably from the same time frame. I know some of you guys collect stuff like this, though it is of no interest to me. So is there a value to this or is it just old crap? Should I take the time to ebay it or just toss it out with the other dumpster items??

Has any one tried to access the site? I went there to check some information and it is gone. I tried last night and a couple of times today, nothing but advertisements from yahoo. I wonder if yahoo trying to sell everything has anything to do with it? It will be a shame if all that information is gone. I have sent so many new Z owners there. Gary:cry:

.....Anyone seen any S30 with the Z-tops? The Z car Home page has a tid bit of info on this extreme rarity. Just wondering if any out there have survived, as I understand only a handful were ever given this treatment. http://zhome.com/ ...Look under 70-78 accesories.

I am going to check this one out as it is on the way home from work. A Z car for sale is rare in Bridgeport Ct in Febuary of all months. I am curious as to how they came across it and it's condition. I'll probably hurt thier feelings if I made an offer as I doubt 40k miles. If by chance it has a good motor and body I would be tempted. My apology if the link does not work. http://newyork.craigslist.org/search/sss/fct?query=datsun fairfield > cars & trucks $2,495, silver w/gray interior, 40,000 mi, 2 Dr, 5 Spd Std, 6 Cyl, 2.8 6 CYLINDER 5 SPEED, RUNS AND DRIVES VERY STRONG ORIGINAL MILES, GOOD PROJECT RESTORATION CAR OR , FOR YOUR DATSUN COLLECTOR, THIS IS A MUST SE…

Just thought I'd put a link for a 240Z on Seattle Craiglist with the cloth sunroof, like you used to see on some of the old VW Beatles. I know I've heard a few people say they like these better than the leaky aftermarket glass type. Not sure how I feel about it, might be all right if it lies totally flat when closed. Looks kind of wrinkled in photos. Also would like to see photo with it all the way open. Probably wouldn't cause the headroom problems of some of the aftermarket ones you see. Not a bad looking car fom the price - $1500. Might bear some closer inspection if someone is in the market and likes the sunroof. Here's the link and I'll post a couple photos here as w…

The car was bought in Aug. of last year. As much as I gave up trying to find the "right" car, as soon as I saw this I had to have it. It's a 70, Vin #58XX, all stock. I intended to do a driving restoration on it. Well the driving didn't happen. The engine belched white smoke and I could never pin it down with an external fix. The car was put in the garage and my Mustang was taken to storage. Business drops off this time of year and I was getting bored around November. I just got the itch to work on it. I started pulling pieces off the front and sanding the paint off. At some point, the car was somewhat restored. It had new 1/4s and rockers put in. Judging by the work, it …

Well, I am going to go a head and start this. I have been thinking about this everyday for almost a month, and I just get so excited. I just hope that all goes well for me in the end. Anyways. A week ago, the tickets were ordered. I am flying out from Nashville to San Jose on January 8th. Going to be at my brothers house working on my Z car. She already runs, but I need to make it road ready for the 3,000 mile trip. Brakes, suspension, electrical reliability, ect. ect. I will be leaving on January 21st at 12noon to be on my way home. The trip has already been planned out by me and my dad who is going to be my secondary driver for faster progress and a greater time…
