Can this truly be the infamous models' "Butt Dent" car? :tapemouth Saw this ad in Houston's craigslist last week and knew right away it couldn't be the real no. 6 car, as that Z is well known and accounted for. I will admit though that the ad did pique my interest and was curious to see just what he really had. Problem is, there was no contact info left in the ad. Myself and another individual have posted ad's requesting this information and as of yet, there has been no response. So, I am going to be right outside of Santa Cruz (15 minutes or so). I know that I am going to be needing a lot of stuff out there that the internet may not be able to get me fast enough. So, for people who live in this area, do you know of any junk yards that have Z cars sitting about, or any Z shops/Stores that know their stuff and can get me almost anything that I may need? I could even go as far as San Jose, maybe San Fransisco area. I might even be in the Sacramento area for a day or so, so even there would be cool.

Hi all, Received some after market hood vents for Christmas and instructions do not include proper location on hood for installation. I just bought an older fairlady, I am bothered because it only has the vin number, no other means of telling what year it really is and or what the original color is, engine size or anything else. So how can i get info from the vin that i do have. I do believe that the engine is orginal aswell but how can i find this stuff out? my vin # is ... GS31010985

Other than your own Z's, How often does anyone actually see a vintage Z (70-73 240) on the road? I know in the DC metro area I have not seen a one in the last year!!! Its rare enough to see a 1st gen RX7 because of the rotaries dying!

What color are S30 wiper arms? The ones on '77 Ruby are black and at the Tow Yard, looking for replacements, all the ones there were Silver. Except a few 280ZX's which were Black. Are there other colors for the S30's or were mine painted? ~Z~

Such as Hagerty's or the like. And if so, ever tried to make a claim on the policy? Their rates under cut my State Farm policy on my Mazda Rx7 by so much that I could insure the Mazda + my intended Z car purchase by almost $500/year! In 15 yrs or so, the initial purchase price will be recouped (of course, not accting for inflation). Let's see... 15+present age...=??? Will I still be able to get into the Z w/o cramping up???...
