Anyone here own (or previously own) a 1973 - 1977 Corvette Stingray? I am curious as to thoughts, especially L82s. Also, thoughts on how it compares (or doesn't) to your S30. I have always liked the "soft" bumper cars, I've had opportunity to drive them when younger, but never owned.

My Honda recently hit 500,000 miles. The car has been in the family since new and 452,000 of the miles are mine. I am very happy. Here is a video if anyone would like to see. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnZ28UoUM_c P.S. I have decided to hold on to my Z for a while longer. Although I have many things to take care of before I can get it on the road.

Well, I'm sweltering away in an Internet Cafe in Greece. My mom and uncle, both aging, invited me along on a cruise of the Med/Adriatic. I haven't seen any Zs, but a Ferrari tried to get splattered by our tour bus in Dubrovnik, Croatia. I've seen tons of old Datsun Pickups (and Nissan of course) as well as a Yogo pickup here in Greece. Seems we only got those lovely VW Rabbit types. I'd stay connected with the club because I'm getting withdrawls but it is 95 cents a minute on shipboard, nearly $60 an hour - those Putanas. Anyway it is about $8 an hour here and well worth the extra sweat. Altho I'm crammed in behind the table with all the wires because I'm using my laptop …

Well, Mother's Day I had just finished up a MTB ride and was pulling out onto the Pacific Coast HWY just south of MUGU rock. Anyway, as I'm watching traffic go by so I can merge, I see this very low silver convertible approaching and of course I'm wondering what the heck it could be......WOW, it's a Porsche GT live and inperson!!! Oh, the sounds were heavenly and as one might imagine quickly disappeared out of sight. Man, what an absolutely awsome looking machine....shoot, I'd even trade my 240Z for it......like anyone would take me up on that offer! Anyway, it was very cool to see this car in person, however briefly! Just thought I'd share my Oh wow with you all! Tom

I am going to check out a 260Z 2+2 that is selling for $1,100. It's priced for a quick deliberately The car is in excellent shape accorording to the owner, but has been sitting in his garage since 2003. It has only 70K on it and some componenets such as the fan clutch and blade have been replaced. He also switched this to SU carbs thankfully! Let's say it starts after dropping in a fresh battery. What should I be concerned about as far as it sitting for over 3 years? Will the oil be sludged up? Please help!
