This isn't to insult Mike or anything, but there's a place you can visit to see & buy T-shirts, stickers, etc or millions of different things: http://www.cafepress.com type Datsun in the search box, and watch whatch comes up. :cheeky:

I was on Ebay about two weeks ago and I saw this dash, see attached pics. It's out of a junk yard '78 280Z that had been garage keep with 63K miles. Mint condition dash, no cracks, no rust, all gages, switches, heater controls, vents, wiring. The seller had the seats and full console, with radio up for sale as well and I must say it all looked brand new. I consulted with my chief financial officer, the wife, and received approval for maximum spending limits on these three items. On the last day of bidding, I stayed up to 11:30 PM for the end of the auction. The bucket seats went for over $450 and the console/radio went for over $575. More than I was allowed to bid. The d…

Hello Z friends, I have a really small minor dash crack by my Vin plate. Has anyone tried one of these "Full Face Dash Covers" from Motorsport Auto? do they go on and look good and hold up good? I'm fussy when it comes to my Z which is why I thought I'd ask around first. MSA claims it has the same texture as the original dash http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/DC/50-2043 Thanks for any input guys,

When did they upgr)de the frappr maps? (fraappr.net/zowners) There was a search box on the map, where you could type in a zipcode or city, to look up who's there... Did I look in the wrong spot? thx

Well, it just snowed last night and all I can do is stare at my well covered Z and count the days till spring. (2 months to go!) I envy you guys with the luxury of enjoying your Z all year long! There is added envy and respect for those of you who have the technical know-how to maintain your car. I've only become a Z-owner again just 1 month ago and though I was fortunate that my car has no problems, just seeing all the posted problems and challenges out there for a 35 year old car creates a little fear factor for the future. I better start boning up on the manuals and learn to do a lot more self service... Doesn't look like I'll have a choise.

You know, there seems to be more and more fellow Zcar website bashing going on lately, both here and on the other sites. Maybe it's always gone on and it's just my sensitivity level that's changed. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing like a little competition to keep things fresh and interesting, but I guess I'm just getting a little tired of hearing disparaging comments without any real substance. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and welcome to voice it if so inclined just like I'm doing here. But in my opinion, each has something to offer, as well as pros and cons. I just don't see the need to badmouth them. Anyway, I'd love to hear your opinions on this.

Like a lot of members in the club I keep my eye out for a good deal to pop up on E-Bay.Sometimes I luck up on things I think I can't live without.Like a lot of you I have a lot of duplicate parts and when I see what some people pay for it I get tempted to sell parts I really and truly will never use. What I don't understand why the prices vary so much on the same item same day?I sold a few parts last year and came out all right,But now I basically give parts to members to help out.I feel that is the least I can do after all the info and help I have gotten from yall. I keep my stash of real hard to find parts unless I think it will help someone in a bind then I part with it…

Found this on ebay, could be a good parts car, though the seller wants to get out of it what he's got in itROFL , which is $1200. Somehow, I don't think he'll get it, especially since there is no engine, and the rust monster, of course... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1972-Datsun-240Z-Maroon-with-moonroof_W0QQitemZ150091140156QQihZ005QQcategoryZ6187QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem from the ad...
