well, had the transmission fixed, and decided to take the motor out and clean everything again, due to the rubing compound getting everywhere (new paint job)... sucks I had to take it out again, but it was the only way to clean everything perfectly... repainted/cleaned the engine too.. sorry for the low quality pics... if I had 500 bucks for a good digital camera, I'd spend it on the Z.. hehe

I have been pondering whether it is ethical or not to warn others in the club if I was to offer unsoliceted information regarding z cars listed on ebay that I have personaly looked at and know for a fact they are not even close to being what they are described as. I have been asked to look at a few in my area and told the member what I thought the car was worth and to deccribe what I saw.The few times I did this the cars were in bad shape and the member did not bid on the cars.I feel I did a service to these members.I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination but I do have a lot of knowledge of z cars and I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once.I would never mis…

Is there any feasibility to camping out or sleeping in your Z? I mean as an alternative to renting a cabin- unless you know a friendly lady Z-owner:) I once spent a night fireworks-watching an a hatchback in high school. I think you'd need a way to recline the front seat(s) forward, and put in some kind of board so you could relax without getting a sore back (BTDT in a folding hospital bed- my back was ACHING from sleeping bent! :mad:) Another option would be one of those car-tent things (do they still make those?) that goes on the hatch, or just a plain old tent; the modern lightweight type, which fold up nice & small. And a sleeping bag or blanket maybe. …

Last year I had a tread about what you got for christmas. This year lets start early and post our wish lists for our Z's and maybe even what we get after Christmas. I will start out with a new alternator for the 90TT that died on me after our local Z club meeting last night. :dead: I would also like a new set of shocks and some new poly bushings for the 76 280.

My buddy shut down his Z shop in Santa Clara and has alot of parts to get rid of. Block, Heads , original carbs and alot of other stuff. He was in business for 24 years and has a big collection. Let me know what your looking for and hopefully i can get the Z club members a great price....
