8.5HP OHV Subaru Engine with Mikuni carb! It was attached to a Baldor Generator (Made in USA). Cool Japanese metal gas tank on top too! Making progress on a new garage in the sticks with no power. Now have some power!

For not really wanting to go, I had a really good time. From the people, new food, landscape and things to see it was really eye opening and amazing. As I recall things of what stuck out to me I’ll try and note them. Otherwise I’m going to share some pics and add a few notes for each. At the end I included a misc. section with just random pics and comments. We did a lot of things and to document them all would take me forever. We flew into Tokyo Haneda Intl. airport which is closer to the city, but a smaller airport. Going through customs was a strange experience. I received this coin with some parts I bought, I honestly did not know I had it until months later as it had been wrapped up. I figured it was washers or something but just recently unwrapped it. I can see it was for an event in July 2011. Can anyone on here tell me me the story behind this? I can see it is numbered, how many were made? Is it truly gold plated or something else? I am not a coin guy but it is definitely cool and now has a spot in my office along with my other Z stuff.

I'm selling one of my projects to make room for the restoration of my 1970 240Z. So I am considering making a submission to Bring a Trailer, to auction my modified 1988 Suzuki Samurai. Before I do, I would greatly appreciate hearing about your experiences as a seller. All experiences are welcomed. I am located near Vancouver BC, Canada so any input from fellow Canadians would be especially appreciated, ie. did you have any cross border issues? If any BAT buyers would like to share their experiences, that's okay as well. It's worthwhile considering both sides of the equation when choosing a selling/buying platform. Thanks In advance Mike
