Does anyone remeber the tips on how to use a rock tumbler to remove rust from small pieces like nuts, bolts, etc. I think you put some sand in but do you also spay the parts with Wd40? Thanks. I'm starting to slowly tacle the restoration of this beast.

There is a large shopping mall online for car insurance. You can buy car insurance online if you understand the process. You have to accurately report your rating information to an online car insurance quoting website. Your accuracy is critical because the data that you give will determine the rate. Truthful and detailed rating information is a must if you are seriously considering buying car insurance online. The process will educate you about your own insurance and will give you confidence to shop online in the future. Here's what you need... 1. Driver License - Every resident relative in the household will have to be rated on the policy. You will need the driver's lice…

I thought it would be fun to go back and find the very first post from some of people who spend the most time here (at least in terms of post counts). This was easy to do using the search feature to find posts by a certain author in ascending date order. It's kind of funny looking through these; a lot of us have idiosyncrasies that showed up early. You'll probably notice some patterns looking through these. We may sometimes give new members a hard time but we were all there before. Here are the top 20 according to the member list sorted by number of posts: Alfadog Fun_in_my_z 2ManyZs Mike Gav240Z SBlake01 hls30.com TomoHawk Escanlon Beandip 26th-Z HS30-H Ed Mr c…

I just came across this eBay auction in Australia: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4651574320&fromMakeTrack=true I was wondering if anyone could shed light onto this? Did Nissan actually make body shells to sell as SPARES? I have never heard of a NOS body shell before... I am not refuting his claim, I'm just seeing if anyone here has more information.

Hello fellow Z'ers, Long time no post...Z's was running fine. Until two weeks ago....Parked in front of my house, sitting down resting from knee surgery (repaired torn meniscus) when I here "the noise" looked out the window to see my car rolling forward.. NOOOOOOO! I jump off couch, hop out door on good leg, realize I'm not going far, yell to kids "get my crutches and call the cops" The goof-ball up the street taged the left rear corner, barely cracked the tailite and crumpled the 1/4 panel. Could not of hit it in a better place to do maximum damage.I was so pissed my wife had to hold me back from beating this guy with my crutches! Then I realize who it is (family frie…

I am about to replace my clutch. was going to buy jack stands but to be perfectly honest i dont trust them. but I have never really used them. What I have done, is laid 4 rims flat on the garage floor and jacked up the car and put them under the wheels. Then lowered the car onto the rims. Is this safe? anybody do this ever?
