I think I may have almost fallen for an EBay scam...here are the details, although I left out exact names. I included whole text of emails in case someone has run into this before--sorry for the length So I've been looking for a set of 44 Mikunis to put on my L28, and found a recent EBay auction advertising them. I bid, but lost by 10 bucks to a well-known Mikuni-supporting company on the East Coast. I took my Lady Zed for a run this morning and stopped off at the shop on the way home. When I came out of the shop, there was a bloke looking at my "Precious". I've noticed him at the shopping centre a few times. Have to be patient and understanding with him, as there's only fifty cards in his deck. Just wondering if American (I got in trouble for calling you lot Yanks) car clubs have similar activities as the club I belong to. We have quite a bit of community involvement, for e.g.; Every two years we host a car show that attracts entries from all over, charging the public a gold coin entry fee. Proceeds are shared between (usually) three charities (normally for children). Last year we donated over three thousand dollars to each charity. Anytime someone (a museum or school) asks us to display our cars, there's always a good turnout.
