Hello everyone, I saw this Fairlady Z on ebay and I thought it looked really nice. It appears to be a ZL too. I don't prefer many of the add ons that were put on it, but it still looks like a really solid home market car. Hopefully it goes to a good home. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissan-Nissan-Datsun-Fairlady-Z-1972-Nissan-FAIRLADY-Z-Japanese-Domestic-Datsun-240Z_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6392QQitemZ4579565794QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW -Ben

I saw one the news last night and this morning the devastation left behind in the south by hurricane Katrina. I would like to extend my condolences and prayers to everyone who is left in the wake or has a loved one in the effected area. I know in New Orleans the damage is great, as well in other areas. Just want you all to know that everyone else is pulling for you. Hang in there. Dave

THE BRICK A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no children appeared. Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door! He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown. The angry driver.then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car shouting, "What was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are you doing? That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a l…

I've been debating about wheather or not to get one. The more I see this one from MSA with the brake cooling ducts, the more I think hhhmm that would look sharp on my Z They have this one in both fiberglass and urethane. Urethane is higher price because it's more durable I believe. Do they hold paint as well as the fiberglass??? I've heard it's better to have fiberglass if you want to paint them. True or False???

Well yesterday afternoon I dropped the tank and replaced all the fuel vent lines. While the tanks was out I cleaned some of the gunk off. Before putting it in I noticed it had a faint marking on the top (see white marking in photo): *symbol on top* 46 01 23 *symbol on bottom* My interpretation 46= year (Emperor showa) 1971 01= January 23= Day This would match because my production date is 1/71. What does everyone else think? Am I somewhat correct?

To anyone/everyone. Where have you seen a Z(pref. 240/432z/260/280) in a video game and don't say people's mods coz thats cheating! I'll start you off... Gran Turismo 2 (PS1): 240ZG, very hard to get. Auto Modellista (PS2): 432Z & 240ZG (can transplant a RB26DETT) into them!, then they REALLY go! I've seen them in other Jap games but I dont know the name.

Hello everyone, I know that this is way off topic, but I thought I would post it because I know there is a member here that would appreciate it. I hope that others like it too. I saw this in the parking lot at my school and I was stunned. It is such a rare and unique automobile. Not many vehicles can look so good with such a patina, but I think that this one looks great. I think it is a mostly original 1965. Enjoy or ignore, Ben p.s. We need an all off topic area, then I wouldn't feel so bad. If it is too off topic, delete the thread.

Anybody know what a Datsun SPL 311 Roadster is? Local guy has one for sale, 1969, says iit is a restorers dream. That could be scary. I'm guessing its some form of the 1600? Haven't heard of it before
