Got a vinage 1989 Ford F-150 last week. Beautiful condition. No rust,158000 kmiles, in line 4.9 litre 6. When I called the guy he said he just put the ad up 2 minutes ago. I was first in line, he got 70 more call and they were still callin after he took ad down. Lesson ......don’t hesitate call immediately if interested. When I saw it in the parking lot I thought it must be a misprint, listed for $2500 Canadian. ( that’s $1800 us ) 5 speed overdrive. Interior clean. Qualifies for vintage insurance. I love it. Would never have happened if I waited 5 minutes more.

Precursor: So I’m 49 and I don’t feel like doing squat. Really doesn’t matter what it is. Maybe there is something wrong with me. I just did 1 of 3 steering bushings on my Tundra and honestly I feel paying the $400 to have someone else do it sounds wonderful! I have one of my 300zx half torn apart, had a goal that won’t occur, so she is kind of sitting there. My 71 needs to be torn apart, painted, etc, etc. At where I’m at now, I don’t ever feel I’ll finish and honestly, whatever. I don’t want to sell anything as I still dig going for rides in the 240z and my other junky 88 300zx. Just puts a smile on my face. So I found a 77 that looks really, really clean, …

When I was in Japan a few weeks ago, I visited many temples and shrines with the family. Not only are these places beautiful and historic, they have a wonderful art called Goshuin. The Goshuin is available to anyone with the proper book and willingness to spend the time to wait for a monk or temple representative to create. Each temple/shrine has their own Goshuin design and the intent is to prove that you've paid a visit. The artwork is a combination of a red stamp and handwritten calligraphy. You can read more about Goshuin here: https://livejapan.com/en/in-tokyo/in-pref-tokyo/in-tokyo_train_station/article-a0002402/ Anyway, the reason for my post isn't to in…

Hi guys, It looks like the wife and I will likely be heading to Japan in early 2019. Do you guys have any suggestions on what (or who) to see? I'm thinking the Nissan Heritage Museum will be a good stop. Was also considering a visit with some local contacts while I am there - @kats and/or Shoji over at Starroad. There will also be other things too (eating and visiting local temples, etc.. ) Anyway, do you guys have any other ideas? Zcar and non-zcar related are welcome. Thank you! Mike
