I've spent the past few days overhauling my garage. I don't particulary want the spiders to stay, so I knock their webs down with a broom and squash every one I see. Without failure, the next morning, there are more webs, more spiders. I don't dislike the spiders as much as I dislike their MESS. Dropping carcasses everywhere and such. My question is... What do I do about it? Anything chemical actually work well? Any animals I can keep around that eat them? Any plants/scents/odors they can't handle? I'm willing to do most anything, I just want to get it clean and KEEP it clean.

Hi guys, Bit of an obscure question, but I am doing a film for one of my subjects at uni and as a part of it a motorbike breaks down. I'd therefore like to have some kind of small smoke "bomb" that I could place on the bike to make it look like it's pouring out smoke. Does anyone know if such a thing exists and where I might be able to source a couple?? Thanks!

I feel lucky, lucky to own a Z car, and lucky to have a good friend like Carl, AKA Bambikiller. Carl and I share a passion for Z cars and Formula One. We also enjoy good jokes, albeit jokes limited for sharing by nature-but good ones just the same. Carl has a seemingly endless supply of jokes too, in particular, "Little Johnny" jokes. Carl will periodically send me a dose making my intolerable mornings a bit brighter. Good friends are hard to come by and everyone should be so lucky. Having said, clearly we are living in the best of times in terms of communication. Specifically email. Bottom line, sharing thoughts and ideas with those I know living far away without the a…

I have a whole bunch of pictures of cars from today's RACQ Festival celebrating 100 years of motoring. A couple of Z's, but a lot of other interesting (to me) cars too. I was just wondering if anybody would be interested and if I should upload them? I'm talking Austin Healey, Mini, Capri, S600/800, Lotus Escort, Pontiac, Mercury, Desoto, DB6, Jowett Jupiter, Bolwell...

I did a tune up - valve adjustment, new plugs - this weekend and had no idea how much she needed one! The Seat-o-the-pants dyno really felt the difference. IF it's been a while, tune her up. Certainly your car deserves a new set of NGK BP6ES's

My son was looking through the latest (July 2005) edition of Road & Track and came across a two page Nissan ad featuring Ron Carter with his Bre as well as a variety of other owners with their cars! I don't recognize the other Z's in the ad, so if you're in there, go ahead and bask in the light! You deserve it after all the hard work you've all done!!! :rambo:

This is probably off topic, but there was a report on the T.V. News tonight about the M.G. car company closing down. All major cities, mainly Sydney are holding auctions to sell off the latest models wich are expected to go for half price. Why buy one when parts will be hard to get and probably cost the world not to mention trade in value. Sorry state of affairs. Rick.

Does anyone know if Z car hubs can be redrilled for 4x100 pattern? I have a new set of 15x7 wheels, 4x100, with an offset that will work with our z-cars, that is, if I can redrill the hubs acceptably... Eric aka ZMunkey
