These day trips are catching up to me! Clark and I left San Jose at 5:15am and arrived in Solvang around 8:30am...not bad timing. Of course cruising at 85-90mph with no traffic helps! Solvang was awesome. This was the first Solvang with my OWN roadster! There were 74 roadsters already parked when I last cheked. The rest of the day was roadster bliss...it was so cool to see people in person that I've only known through the list or 311s.org! All of you rock! Some highlights from the day: -A 1500 with a U20/Solexes! -Keith Williams did a carb tune-up clinic for 5-6 lucky roadster owners. -The Poker Run led by Gerardo(who suspisciously left his roadster behind) …

I was looking for other members of our board today at the MSA show, but didn’t see any. I had my club t-shirt on (granted I had a dark jacket over it due to the rain) walking around with my wife, Michelle, and English bulldog, Monty. After 2 hours walking around at MSA, and after the soaking, we decided to drive back home. On the way, we stopped in Santa Barbara for a late lunch. We parked the car and proceeded to walk toward State Street (the main street in town). Guess what? Another car show!!! They closed off about 6 blocks and had a variety of rods, muscle car, customs and bikes on display. This included a couple of nice Chip Foose designed cars. The sm…

I hear nothing but excellent results from those that have used it on there Z. I bought it and I'm going to clean ALL my electrical contacts in the engine bay and the connector for the ECU. I can't remember when it was last done so it's due. Part of my normal Spring Tune Up When I'm able to get around to doing it, I'll let you all know what I think of it.

This thread is dedicated to all Prophets, Soothsayers and Crystal Ballers. I'm sure many have noticed the rise in Oil Prices, and the consequent flow on in petrol prices. In the short term we will all learn to live with this and adjust accordingly, however, it is short sighted and does not address where we will be with our cars in let's say 20 years. How do others see the situation? Is it feasible to convert to gas? How about some type of diesel or electric or a hybrid or should we consider selling up now while we have a chance? Personally, I would love to see some type of hybrid conversion available, realising that the obvious loss of performance, whilst still having the…

Hello everyone. I was at the local Borders Books today, and I was thumbing through the "Classic Cars" magazine and there was a little clip about the exhibit. It is for the 50 years of Nissan design and there is supposedly some great Nissan's on display at Nissan headquarters in Ginza, Japan. The article stated that some Skyline GT-R's, 240z's, roadsters, and some early prototypes (I forgot the one that it specified, but it was not an S30 prototype.) would be on display. I know nothing more, but I am very curious to see photos of the cars, or any info about it. Keep yours eyes pealed on the web. Ben p.s. I found this link: http://www.nissanhelp.com/News/Nissan%20Cele…
