Hey All, I was hoping to get a run down of who all is going to Zfest in Orlando. I know of only a few and I would like to get to meet as many of you as possible during the event. Unfortunately I only know your screen names and some cars. Didn't plan on wearing a big seerex shirt , but I can. Well just would like to know who plans on going and to get a chance to buy a couple of beers and chat. Thanks Jeff

I have some valve covers from my previous car for sale on another forum and a guy from Australia wants them. Before i go through the trouble of bringing it down to the post office i was wondering what a ballpark figure would be. He seems to think it may be too expensive. The VC is around 10lbs. Thanks for any imput, Jay

Hi guys! I heard a good number of people tell me about this site for good and friendly help. I met them at the Z fest this weekend, and it was awesome! sure beats the crowd from zcar.com... Anyways, I've got a blue 280.. it was flipped into the water, and now ive been into it for a year now, on a no-budget rebuild (mostly electrical, engine was okay!) Just wanted to say hi to everyone before I start asking funny questions!

What do you guys think. My car is getting a complete restoration. Better than new in my opinion. My question is should I reset my odometer to zero? Or leave it be at 70k (probably 270k).

Hey, what ever happened to the chat room? Did it fall about the wayside with all the subsequent site upgrades and changes, or was it not compatible with the current system? I miss it.

Clutch in Brake Blip Cluth out Also, could you use this technique (minus the brake) when driving down the highway in top gear (say around 2500rpm) and than downshifting two gears to pass? Also, would someone care to explain double clutching to me? Sorry Im so green. thanks, Justin

You know, I have asked this before, but I never really figured it out. How do I put pictures in my gallery? Most importantly, what do I put for the URL? I have finally found out how to place pictures on a post, but not in the galleries. I feel dumb! :classic:

Has anyone tried using one of these kits and if so was it worth it? I saw a segment of Classic Car restoration where they used one of these kits and a regular home oven and it looked great. Harbor Frieght has a basic unit for $70, and saw some on ebay for about the same. Just thought it would a nice alternative to painting engine bay parts that would fit into the oven. Jeff

Well after a five month search I found and bought a 1970 240 (HLS300 5023) I found it in a garage and had been sitting for 5 years. The previous owner was a young doctor, he had put it storage in order to go back to school. He bought it as a project car to restore but ran out of time not $$. He had done a lot to it prior to putting it in storage. New radiator, new seat kit, new vinyl kit, new wiring harness, new header and exhaust, K&N filters, new carpet, 5 speed conversion, and more. No cracks in the dash and minimal rust. I transported it home on a trailer, drained the fuel tank, vacuumed the fuel lines, dump the bowls, put a new fuel filter on, and dropped in a r…
