Check this out. I was really suprized to see this on ebay. I have never seen one of these cars, but I have read a little bit about them. Supposedly, there is a great one in the UK. I would love to see this car. I hear they rev like motorcycles! What a find! This car would go great next to a Z in someones garage. Does anyone out there know anything about what is involved in swaping an r180 stock diff for a r160 lsd? (from a Subaru) Will the stub shafts on the r160 work with the parts on my r180. Could this diff stand up to a mild e88 240 with an abusive driver? :devious: From what I have heard, which is very little, this is not really an upgrade in terms of durability. However I really do need an lsd diff. Not because of huge power, but because of roll stiffness brought on by the addition of larger anti-sway bars front and rear.

Did anyone else here post any information on Automobile Magazine's list of "The 100 coolest cars of all time"? I only ask be cause the 240Z made the list... at number 55. That is in the bottom half, and way below their opinon of the 63 Corvette and 911, but it did beat out the "Dukes of Hazzard's General Lee" 68 Charger :cheeky: I am not sure I would agree with the list, but at least they agree that the Z is "cool"

Picked up a leed on the following.........According to one of the guys on HYBRIDZ, there is going to a show called "Living in the fast lane" on channel 232 (Fine Living TV) this Friday at 6:00pm pacific coast & 9:00 on the other coast. It's some coverage of the MSA 2004 show, with some interviews. Could be interesting. Show schedules can be seen on the Direct TV web page. Hey......you might even see yourself on national TV!!!

This is my first post, so please bear with me. I seem to be up a gainst the wall with some ignition problems. Here is the presenting problem: the engine will not rev past about 4000 rpm, the timing just can not be set right, if the timing is advanced, it will rev a bit higher but detonation then becomes a problem, it the timing is retarded the engine just will not rev past 4k but the detonation stops. Bear in mind, this engine is just a tired 240 with an E88 head. Not a high compression/highly stressed monster.
