I am having a time with this topic. A buddy of mine was looking in Import Tuner Mag. and he saw the Lambo door kit for only $999.95. I asked him if he was going to put them on his car. He said no, and that it would look "pimp" if I could do it to my 240Z. I looked at him like he had crabs coming out of his ears. "No way in hell am I going to do that to my car. I am already pushing it with the shaved door handles and plexiglass sail windows. What more do you want?" We argued for a couple of hours. I think, if I wanted my doors to open like a Lamborghini I would have gotten a Lamborghini...right? What say the forum? Thanks

I know this is off subject, that's why I'm posting it here. I'm hoping someone can help as I know many of you are good mechanics. My commuter car is a '85 Camry with 213,000 miles. It has fuel injection. It idles fine but won't run when I give it gas. I've replaced the distributor cap, rotor, wires, plugs, vacuum advance, and fuel filter. Any suggestions other than get another car, which I plan on doing but am saving up until next spring. Thanks

Hi guys, I'm new to this site. I just bought a '72 240Z and I'm currently tearing it apart in hopes to restore it to original. This site has helped me a few times with technical stuff and pics of members cars. The question I have is how do I start my own photo gallery, I'd like to post some pics of the stages of restoration, but I cant figure out how to do that. I dont even see my user name when I go to members galleries. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Zak

Woot!! Started working at Nissan (NMAC) in Irving Texas a couple of days ago. Nothing like going to work in the morning, with my 240Z, a cup of coffee, and seeing that Nissan badge on the building.

It occurred to me today (thanks to a friend who pointed it out) that the Watanabe logo (the three birds - ducks was it?) looks strangely similar to three "Rebel" logos from Star Wars. I'm not a Star Wars fan so sorry if I got some terminology wrong... Hmm, I found it kinda funny.

Just a little ol' Hayabusa... ...that happens to go 250mph! 8/6/2004 Suzuki Hayabusa Streetbike Clocked At 251 MPH In Texas From a press release issued by Scott Guthrie: Scott Guthrie, at age 59-3/4 an aging road racer for sure, slammed Rich Yancy's street legal Suzuki Hayabusa hard through the 250 MPH barrier, to a final official record speed of 251.148 MPH. That's the fastest speed ever recorded for a streetbike, and the fastest record in history for what land speed racers call an "open wheel bike," and the track record. Guthrie's big speed came on his final run Sunday 1 AUG 04 at the TEXAS MILE top speed race (www.texasmile.com) near Goliad, TX. The 251.148 MPH term…

I read a thread a few weeks ago about "what to do while my engine is out" and can not find it now. I remember that there was some really good info in there and wanted to review it again. Can anyone point me to this thread?

Anybody know where to start looking for the oil pressure sensor on a Ford 460? I have a motor home on an '85 Ford E350 chassis with a 460ci engine. I need to re-wire the electric fuel pump but I don't where on the block the oil pressure unit is. I want to wire the fuel pump so that it will only run with oil presure or while the starter is engaged. The starter part is easy. Anybody got any ideas where to look?
