Was driving back last night from NY to North Carolina and came across a Z driving south on Interstate 81. Was dark blue, with two tan racing stripes over the top and a large spoiler. The bumper looked 280z'ish ( I think ) but it was badged a fairlady and only had the datsun badge on the back. Was that anyone on here? I was towing a 73 240z behind my xterra when we ran into you, probably a half hour south of West Virginia? Was a nice car anyway...

for one thing, you come out with stuff you weren't even thinking about... i.e., go to the store for chips, you leave with a 12-pack, steak, dog food, and you forgot the chips! :stupid: Same thing at the junkyard today! Went to UWI to pick up a battery tray, and started drooling over a *edit* '72 *edit* 240 (build date of 8/71) - It was unmolested as of 3 pm today. I was honestly suprised at how well this thing has held together... rusted out rear hatch panel, but the spare tire well was as clean (but now holding water) as when it left the factory. I need to sell my 1973 240z. It has 84,000 original miles on it and was previously a Texas car. It has only been in Wisconsin as a summer car. The floor pans and underneath the battery tray are extremely solid with no rust. Between training for a marathon and work my baby gets no attention. The blue book for it was 5,000$ in poor shape, but the z's that i have seen in that price range on autotrader seem a little nicer than mine.
