I am wanting to know how much a 280z is worth. This particular one is in a pasture, rear hatch is bent and maybe needs replacing (not sure about this), some work on the body where the hatch is bent, and some other minor skin work. However, other than this the body is really straight. The interior is trash. Has original wheels I think. I'm not sure what year it is but has the rectangluar looking vents on the hood. Hope someone can help me out. I would like to know where to start w/$$. I want to be fair about it but don't want to go to far on his side. Thanks TX

A bit off-topic, but I thought some might be interested. Here are some (silly) guys with a series 5 FC RX7, with an engine they obviously dont need anymore. They want to see how long the 13B powerplant will last at full-throttle with no rev limiter (ie 9000rpm). I dont know if anyone's seen this yet but Stewart auto in colma, cali (near san fran.) dropped this guys corvette off of a lift and they're really giving him the run around and playing it off like its minor damage. I was at the local Barnes and Noble bookstore yesterday and I came across the June 2004 "Classic and Sports Car" magazine. I saw the old 240z/350z comparo. I decided to buy it and it is the best 240z/350z comparo that I have read. They finally give Matsuo and his team the credit for the design of the S30! I had chills run up my spine when I read that because I was expecting the writers of the British magazine to credit Goertz. I was wrong and I am glad. I'm looking for a driver's side window regulator for my '73 240Z and the yards are dry for 240s (not to mention I bought a 260Z regulator and window, but it doesn't work - probably because it was 2+2). I'm going to try MSA tomorrow morning, but I was hoping someone could let me know of other places so I can have access to those essential resources to properly care for my poor "fair lady."
