Hey all, I whould like to now if any members have or know of any one who is renting a house in the LA area. I need a new home for me and my father. I have been looking, but the rents around here are really high. So I would very much appreciate any and all help in this matter. I would just like a decent 2+1 or such house to care for my father and babysit my children (yard) when I can. Of course a little space to work on my Zed (drive/garage) for a somewhat reasonable rent. If anyone has anything to offer or know someone that does please feel free to PM me. Thanx I know that this has nothing to do with Z's, but my Z is with my and she needs a home too!:devious:

I was just working on my Z, when i found something that really suprised the heck out of me!!! I removed the front quarter panel from the passenger side, after removing the one on the driver side, and i noticed the MASSIVE amount of spider webs, i just thought, hmmm, must just be those little ones i see crawling around all the time... but when i flipped the panel over i saw a HUGE Black Widow, normally im not really bothered by spiders, but this is an easily deadly spider, especially at its size... i caught it and put it in a terrarium... I also caught what i believe is a male Black Widow too, but they arent black and dont have the markings, so im gonna take them both to m…

I need advice for a 20hr. trip from Reno, Nv to El Paso,Tx on a 1972 240z that I just bought on e-bay. The car looks good in the pictures, and the previuos owner for the last 30 years was a retired mechanic, so that gives me a lot of confidence. The car is an automatic with a rebuilt engine, 40,000 miles ago,and stock carburators. I was told that has been sitting for about 4 years and last september they drove it for about 2 1/2 hours at highway speed. The bad, i just spent all my earnings on that car and the airplane ticket, and only have left like 300 bucks for the trip, sounds pretty scarry but is worth it. Here's my plan: I'm going to inspect/replace water hoses, engi…

I finally decided that I wanted to tint my windows in my 280Z. I was curious to see people's opinions on what type of window tint looks the best.. especially on Z's. I mainly want to get window tint to 1) Not shatter on my face in an accident 2) Protect my interior from the sun 3) Protect my car from thieves discovering what I have inside 4) Exterior styling or an extra touch My options are: Black window tint, but light 17% or darker Mirror Tint (Like the WRC Rally Subi WRX) not 100% mirror. And this is all on an orange/red (persimmon) 280Z. What does you guys suggest?

eBay user ID navyzero Is this person a member on this board? He's bought 3 "Nissan 2400 OHC" valve covers in the last few months off eBay two of which he's out bid me on. I'm just wondering how many cars he's working on and what they look like (not mad about being out bid, dissapointed but not mad...that's just the way eBay works). I looked over the three auctions for these valve covers and he's a sniper! Comes in with less than 10seconds left in the auction and places his winning bid. Damn it! :devious: Oh well, that's life.

Hi, people. Ohh well I finally purchased my dream z. It looks soo good in the engine bay etc. However, the car is for the auto cross or track. I am not sure privious owner was planing this setting for autocross or ITS. What do you think? Anyway, I would like to use the z for daily or more streetable. Is it possable? Do I have to back to SU Hitachi? Get a stock cam? Get 2.5 pipe with more quieter muffler? Giving up the daily driver? The setting of my 240z: 1. factory (Nissan) rebult L 28 engine and P 79 head with mild cam which installed by the Japanese car club(formely called the z clinic) in Dublin California. 2. triple weber was installed by the Japanes…

I've got a old article from a hot 4's magazine that compares different "performance" spark plugs on the same motor on a dyno.. I think champian golds were the best(by a couple of KW's on a honda civic--i think) Is there any newer dyno tests on the new style of plugs.??? ie bosch +4, denso iranim(or something) the new NGK's etc Each of the companys have a before and after dyno graph on their own website and "claim" magical power gains ,but i'd prefer to see a independent magazine article..the companys claims seem a bit "snake oil" magic to me. Any ideas(or tech websites???)

ok...new question for everyone. I was going through a Z magazine and found an ad in there about there being a r/c car 240Z for sale from strictly Z. I went to the strictly Z site however and found no such thing. Does anyone know about any of these r/c cars, or where to find them? I would be willing to buy them off one of you guys if you have 1. Thanks in advance
