Did you know that: If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. With Enron, you would have $16.50 left of the original $1,000.00. With WorldCom, you would have less than $5.00 left. But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of Beer one year ago, drank all the beer in one sitting, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling price, you would have $214.00, and a hell of a hangover! Based on the above, current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle. It's called the 401-Keg Plan. Ok, you didn't make any money-like you would care after drinking that much beer... Will

I just wanted to mention this to everyone!!! I think 2ManyZs sould get a round of applause, from everyone, for his regular and knowlegable contributions (posts) toward helping members with their questions. I am always amazed with the depth of his knowledge about our loved ones (Z cars). Anyway, thanks 2ManyZs!!!! P.S. There are other contributors with equal knowledge that deserve recognition as well......it's just that 2ManyZs was upper most in my mind.

About to sell my '02 Sentra and make my '72 my daily driver. I want to amass a list of all items/functions/systems to check and test before getting rid of my Warranty, er, car, and migrating to my Z. So, zedheads...what should I check? Generalizing a bit is fine (I.e. Suspension instead of Right front thisandthat, left shock, with the exception of notoriously failing parts). Hope to get it inspected within the next week or so. Thanks in advance! My list so far: Clutch Shifter Brakes Steering Lights Exhaust Differential Starting system Charging system Lock mechanisms Wheels/Tires

I was curious... what is everyone's opinion on those clear headlight covers for our sugar scoop headlights? I figure that they look similar to older Jaguar's and Ferrari's and some Porche's. I would like to get a set, to have a newer look, *minute improvments on aerodynamics and a smoother body style. However, I do kidna want to keep the car looking all original, and I don't want any cheesy, ricey accessories. What is everyone's opinion on them... for an Z.. like a 280Z, not a ZX.

I'm building a short list of the greatest Japanese cars ever, and having burned out somewhere past the RX8 and Toyota 2000GT, I came to my personal favourite (240Z), and I'm too tired to write it, or trawl Google for royalty free images! Has anyone written a decent article on the Z or got some photo's I could use? It's for a small irish site, belonging to yours truly, I will (of course) credit you with writing it with a link to this site or wherever you want it to go!

I would like to place a nomination for this year's Pack and Ship Awards. I think this deserves a trophy for Best Postage or Most Creative Postage. What do you think?

I will be driving to California for the Z car nationals coming up this April 23/24/25 and I was curious, if anyone is going to bring out any cool parts they don't need or Z cars that they want to sell?? I figured if you want to sell a Z, taking it to the MSA Nationals is the perfect place to sell your car. Anyone selling anything?

After many evenings and weekends and a "few $$$$" I finished putting it together and hit the road for the first time and what a treat, worth every bit of the effort. It sticks to the road like glue and turns heads like crazy. I actually kinda had a head ache from all the cornering, (not used to it yet!) For the first time ever driving one, (other than back in 74 as a kid) I thought it was just right, not to rough and not a bit mushy, it does not have any rattles and I thought it was quiet enough. On some of the rough roads it is a bit bouncy but thats fine. Now I know we like them so much,,,, there COOL !
