Was wondering if anyone would have info regarding Zcar events in the month of May in Colorado. Planning a trip to meet a good friend, and wanted to drive his 260 to a club event. I know it's early in the year, but thats when the plane tickets are the best price:classic: Thanks in advance for any help:classic:

As a former Limey now living in the US, I like to subscribe to European magazines. One of my favorites is "Classiccars" magazine from the UK. For the month of January 04 they have decided to honor the 240Z as the featured car and for its cover. This is an amazing thing when you consider some of the cars that have been on this cover for the last 30 years. Ferraris, Jags, Aston Martins, etc. There is a great article about when they took the Z around London with the badges covered and most of the brits thought it was either a Jag, Porsche or in some cases thought it was an early Ferrari. Pretty funny! Either way the magazine spoke very highly of our beloved Z (why wo…

Do you know if these louvers are from a Z car? I've been told they look like they came off of a Z car, but I don't know. I thoght they were for a Mustang f Fastback, but there too long. I have a 1970 Mustang Mach 1 and they are about 8 inches too long for the back window.

Qoute from Shannon Malone "I like doing the motorcycle segments because they'd dress me in tight leather pants." I'll be willing to bet, "they'd" be more than one of us who could find something tighter for her to wear, ON THE HOOD OF A ZCAR!

The steering wheel in my '78 280Z is slightly sun damaged on the top, with a small split, and I'm thinking about putting an aftermarket wheel on the car. I'm not too concerned with originality in the 280 (I have the 240Z for that!). It would be nice to keep a Z logo of some sort, though. MSA has some wheels that have Z logos, as well as a variety of other wheels. So, my question is, for those of you into aftermarket steering wheels, what would you recommend? The car's a daily driver, so it has to be something "ergonomic" that doesn't exacerbate the already heavy steering. Thanks for any opinions.

I was at a magazine stand a few days ago and came across a "I'm not to sure" but I think it was called classic car or something like that. It wasn't a Z magazine, but had a red 240z on the cover and a full article inside on a mustard colored 240z. It was a test they were doing on the Z to see if people would recognize the car without identifying the badges. So what they did was taped all logos and emblems to see what people would guess. I believe it was done in Europe and noticed that it did not have any signals in the usual spot but mounted on top of the bumper. The bottom section was one piece instead of the usual three. Any way just thought I'd share that and hope you …

finally, good news! I work at a Ford dealership (parts dept.) A local shop had a 72 or 73 z he was working on. (he isnt sure of the year. I asked him about it today, the guy never paid his bill and he is GIVING me the car! I am going to go get it Friday. Question, it hasnt been started in a couple of years. I am going to trailer it home and try to get it started. Outside of new plugs, battery, and by-passing the fuel tank, any suggestions on anything I should do before I crank it up?? My wife said I can have the garage for one week, since I already have the carport taken for my current z Im not a mechanic by any means, so any suggestions would be appreciated. …

I thought all the 240Z air cleaners were orange. Were some of them different colors? The '73 in this e-bay auction has a blue one and claims to be original: 73 240Z Just wondering.

Just begining my Z experience and am about to buy my first 240Z. Just wanted some advice about getting into the adventure. I don't know a whole lot about cars but would like to learn. Will I be in way over my head with a Z, or would this be a good starter project? Also, I've done a lot of research on the 240 so besides the obvious, rust, body, etc what should I look for with my first 240Z purchase. Any advice is welcomed. Thanks for the help
