Just a quick one for the 240K/C110 guys out there. I finally landed a deal for the elusive 2 door C110/240K coupe, it'll be in my hands hopefully before Christmas. Swapping a 260Z 5 speed for a dead straight body, c/w everything except motor and trans; easy fix-swap all running gear from my sedan to the coupe!!! I'm excited I tell ya!!!:classic: It'll be a nice feeling getting my hands back on a coupe, can I join the 2 door club again???!!! Kyteler, Alfa??? Aah, never thought I'd land one again, relief.....

I just had a restoration shop install all new carpet inside my 280. Weird having a faint scent of that new car smell on such an old car. He talked me into taking out all the vinyl on the towers and behind the seats. It really turned out nice and made me wonder why nissan even bothered with the vinyl. Will post some photos when i find the damn camera.

I have always heard that draining water spins in the opposite direction from the way it does in the northern hemisphere. Is there any truth to this?!! I have never been in the southern half and am curious. My Fluids professor mentioned it. I dont understand the reason why... but I will. Roopz

From UK based Superbike Magazine: Triumph Rocket III 2.3 litre Harley Beater Triumph sticks a rocket under Harley Davidson A chorus of ‘**** me’ rang through the office as we cast our eyes on the new Triumph Rocket III. The Hinkley firm has taken the rule book, then chucked it away in making this most massive of machines. The numbers are big, with a capital B. There’s a 2,294cc longitudinal inline triple cylinder engine, 147ft lb of torque (at 2,500rpm!), 140bhp, a 240/50-section rear tyre and it’s claimed to pull 1.2g under acceleration. With specs like this Triumph really has stuck a rocket under Harley Davidson, and it’s not shy on the styling front eithe…

I watched a show on Speedvision last night about a ~1957 speed records set by a MG at the Bonneville Salt Flats. At the end of the show the guy was talking about all the cool MGs, Triumphs,... of the area. Then he mentioned that the introduction of the 240Z in 1970, and all its attributes (power, quality, styling, etc) marked the end of the British sports car era. I thought that was pretty cool.
