There are different types of blasting media out there. I was wondering if a specific type is better for a particular application. Or certain surfaces. So far I've encountered: Sand Glass Bead Aluminium Oxide Walnut shell Any others?

This is for all the Ozzy guys! Australian V8 Supercar Series......WOW, what a great race series!!! Does Marcus Ambrose and his team rock with that blue oval car or what??? This has got to be one of my favorite race series to watch. When I was just a teenager (over 30+ yrs. ago) I owned a 65 Mustang V8, so listening to these Supercars brings back some great memories of Ford V8 power. Its interesting to see a cool looking Ford with the Falcon name. Here in the states, Falcons were just these funny little Econo cars that have long disappeared. The Ozzy Falcons look pretty cool, kind of a Mustang type front end stuck on a sedan. What engines come in them stock? Anyway, you Au…

Hi all, I've just come back from a short business trip to Japan, and whilst there I managed to attend a Z-only event organised jointly between 'CLUB S30' ( of which I am proud to be a member ) and the 'S30 OWNERS CLUB'. It was orginally planned as a medium-sized event for members of the two clubs, and took place at Sagamiko Picnic Land in Kanagawa prefecture - a couple of hours drive in heavy traffic to the SW of Tokyo. The day was beautifully clear and bright, and a lot more cars than I expected turned out - some of them not actually owned by club members. One of the invited guests was Mr Yoshihiko Matsuo, and he generously took the time to speak personally to many of…

I know that insurance varies a lot and you cant ever really put a number on it. I'm just wondering how much it would be for a 240z with a 17 year old kids name on the title. Full coverage, or just liability. Thanks

So.......... How many of you have tore out the heater core in a 240Z, ( aprox. 3 hours ) Only to find out it was the top hose connection nearest the firewall? ( spraying water into the heater core area, making it look like the core was bad) Of course I'm an idiot for not checking all the hoses first, rather than tearing them off in a fit of rage:stupid: so it turned out to be a loose connection on the hose. And while coming out from under the dash, I cracked my head on the lower glovebox support:dead: Sincerely, Dave the moron.!!!

Soon i will be in the market for a new car. I just never found one that i liked. The new Z just didn't hit the spot and niether did anyother car. I just read the car & driver article and i really want one. Since i am finishing school now and i may have a job soon. I already am through most of the hiring process for a local (close to home, cutting down my living expenses )chemical plant, hopefully i land the job. Enough.....now about the car.
