These will go up in the gallery however I thought I'd toss them up here for discussion. These are pics of the donor battery well from Roger Schmidt at the Z barn. Cost was 122 bucks however he sends the entire corner from the strut tower back to the firewall section. It requires alot of cutting and fitting, however its an alternative to not having to custom fabricate something depending on the severity of your rust.

Ok finding a good shell is getting a little hard so ive thought about the idea of cutting my losses and selling what i have. These are some prices i have thought about but i dont know if im asking too much or not enough ? Stumbled upon a good deal (maybe). Here is the scoop: 1978 280z: black primered, floor pan rust, new tires, new front air dam, new carpet, runs 'as good as a top'. 5 speed 2.8, stock. 1974 260z: stripped down, solid body, supposedly no rust. Chassis has bigger sway bars, lowering springs, LSD. Body has an aftermarket air dam. Also included: (3) 2.8 engines, 1 with a thrown rod. (3) 4 speed transmissions. 1 set of 4 wheels. (2) sets of headers. Other miscellaneous parts. Total: $950. Whats the scoop...do I go for it?

hey all i just recently have token up an interest in these cars, partly due to a local guy with a 70 or 71 putitng about 350 to the ground with t04 hanging off of the side. anyway i was wondering if yahl could shoot me some links to info for these cars? like he had electronic fel injection and all but i thought something of those years would have a carb? also what are all the differences in the 2.4 2.6 and 2.8 motors? is one beter than the others for big hp numbers? any motor swap info would be greatly appreciated. also what kinda suspension do these cars come wiht? like independent rear or a straight axle? just some educationg would be nice. thanx for any info i…

I had one of these 20 years ago and re-built it. This one I am looking at has possible frame rail rust. How hard is it to rplace these? Cost ? This car comes with a parts car and has all history of pro rebuilt motor, newish paint, interior is abit rough but mostly there. It has a fold-back type sunroof that I dont like and am wondering how much this devalues the car and how much it would cost to have it replaced with original roof and if it is worth it? I am about to pay $3000 CAD for the car and the aprts car. Is this a good deal? I am going to make this deal in the next day or so so a quick reply from experienced people in the club would be great. I recently disconnected a blue wire from the ignition column and cannot remember where it goes to. My ignition now does the following: When turned from OFF to LOCK I hear a click similar to the click you hear when you go from OFF to ACC. the dash brake light comes on (at the speedometer) and basically drains my battery. Does anyone know where this blue wire goes to? Is this a ground wire? also,the ignition is not original but it is a Nissan. thanks HP
