Hey all, Just curious, how many of the original guages from the 240/260's will work with an rb engine dont things like the tacho and speedo run off the ecu? how many do you need to replace!?

I am looking at putting an '83 non-turbo (ZXB) 5-speed into my '72 240. Everything I read says to go with a 3.90 / R200 rear end with this tranny. However, I have found an R180 3.90 (seems to be rare) which would be a direct bolt in with no need to change the mustache bar etc. I do not plan to do anything radical to this car and think the R180 would be sufficient for the stock engine. Is $250 (includes shipping from California to NC) too much to pay for this? I know I can get an R200 for $100 but then I have to locate the mustache from a 280Z etc. etc. so by the time I get all the parts I may have $200 in it anyway. Is the R200 that much better for my application? …

hello gentlemen, does anyone have the magic tech app for the poly urethane rear control arm bushing "squeak". i have greased the bushings with bearing grease which has diminished the problem. i have not been able to elimate the issue. it is worse in lower, below 50 degrees, temp... thanks keith

Just found this: HPI v6 taster Looks like it could be the spirit garage s30 racing? Has anyone seen video for real and can confirm it? I'll have to see if any other ones featuring s30s :classic: How come we never get stuff like this in the UK, looks like I might have to get a subscription to zoom and HPI sent over here!

Ok after i got my 280zx running i just couldnt get it too run on all 6 ! so after numerous times with the plugs out and fuel rail and injectors i came here from some help. in the end the firing order was wrong So to sum things up check the obvious

I've just seen tail lights on a 240Z that are two individual round lights (like those on a Ferarri). Does anyone have any info on where these may be purchased? Nevermind, I think they're custom!
