YEAHHH!!! Found a 73 240 for sale in the area. Gotta go take a look at it. The fella said there is some rust...booooo. Could be fixable if it isn't too bad. He's only asking $750 for it but after talking to him on the phone he doesn't seem to be a Z enthusiast. He got the car form his father-in-law in 99' and hasn't done a whole lot to it due to time and money(he's got 5 kids:o ). He did say that most of the rust is on the passenger floor board. So what's it take to replace floor pans on a Z? Wheres the best place to buy new ones and whats a typical welder charge to pop them in? I'll be honest I wasn't really looking for a 73 but i got to thinking about the type of…

Aight, i found this z here in tejas my home. the guy says it runs and from the pics ive seen the interior is in great condition. the rear hatch landing is rusted bad and the floor pans need replacing. this car comes with new front struts new calipers and a new hatch(no glass). I ave never patched rusat spot but this guy only wants 900 bux for the car. now this seems like a good deal to me if it would be relatively simple to fix the rust. Im going to go lok at it but the guy sent some decent pics, anyone who wants to see em i will send em to as i dont know how to post em.

Just bought a 260 2+2 for a parts car. The motor has early SU's and runs really well but I can't identify whether its a L24 or L26 as the L xx before the serial number looks like it may have been grinded off It has a e88 head and on the LH side of the block is stamped P 30 3309. Did the P 30 blocks run both L24 & L26 ? Any tips on differences? cheers Steve

Sorry my first post has to be so grimm. A 16 year old gentleman in my Z club had his father/son 240 stolen! I dont know the specifics, and when exactly it happened, but PLEASE PLEASE keep an eye out for his Z. His 240 had a little blog in Super Street, and i think they gave his city and name out. Here are some pics of his 240z, PLEASE watch for parts, or his whole car! The 'Team Showcase' stickers have been removed as far as i know. Call the cops and EMAIL me ASAP if you have any leads PLEASE! All that is left of his 240 is the keyhole washer that they popped off........ ALL Z ENTHUSIASTS, BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR THIS Z!!! I need some help. My neighbor has a 1977 240Z. He is the original owner. The car only has 63000 miles. The owner of the vehicle wants to sell the car but does not know what it is worth. The car is in good condition. It is an automatic. Does anyone have an idea of what this vehicle might be worth. Thank You

Hi guys/gals I'm trying to ascertain how to go about overboring my 240z engine to take 280z piston, like rebello do. I'd be interested in any experiences re compression ratios (e31 head) and whether I need to change the conrods (I have the early thinner bolt ones) and any piston height problems etc Thanks for any help.
