hello useless ontheside: Z is at the panelbeaters, in $5000 AUD it'll be rust free andpainted ready to reassemble! however, its being painted metallic blue and so all needs to be done in one go, I am missing the side and front valances under the front bumper Who has pics or inforegarding front spoilers that replace them, i'm talking to bballs at the moment about his, but if someone has the valances around cheap i may consider them but mainly after info at the moment:) to see whats out there its a '71 240z btw:)

I've got questions, too many to go searching for, and my wife will be home soon!!! Short history, I have a 73 240, pulled it out of storage about a month ago after 15 years. I would like to add a 5 speed, R200 rear and on and on, you know just like everyone else Move to today, I snag an 81 280ZX, licenced and driveable, with factory t-tops, electric everything and it all works. It has the usual body, frame, floor pan cancer, but who cares I bought it for parts and got it for $200. My questions: 1) Can I swap the 5 speed and rear end into my 240? I'm 99% the answer is yes but got to ask. 2) It has 4 wheel disk brakes, can I swap the rears? 3) I has really nice seats…

I checked and didn't see anything that said I couldn't post this but if I shouldn't moderators please delete it and accept my appoligy. I just found this place, OEM Nissan parts by the thousands, so they say, at what look to be great prices. Their web site isn't complete but here's the link. http://www.oem-surplus.com/nissanwebpage/ I have no connection with these people, don't know anything about them, just found the site and wanted to pass it along to those looking for OEM parts for a restoration that can't be found anywhere else, maybe here.

Well guys i hope you like it as much as I do . It's a video of my 240z going along. About 2mb I manged to get it down from the raw 12mb it was so it did loose some quality. However you should be able to see it easily enough. You can hear those dual pipes go . http://www.geocities.com/gavin_doolan/Gav240zDualPipes.avi Server 1 http://members.optusnet.com.au/~gavindoolan/Gav240zDualPipes.avi Server 2 right click to save and if you can't get it working you'll need a DivX codec for it. You can get it from www.divx.com .

headlight?!

So I have a headlight out, little did I know Id have to take off a tire and remove half my inner fender to get to it. Whats worse? How about one bolt broke whiel I was takin it out and then after I get the fender well out one screw is crossthreaded and stuck badly and the other top screw has the slots ground out, no way to use a screwdriver :-( Im gonna have one eye till i replace the fender :-( Its liek that lady from that show said, if it aint one thing, its another (Rosanne Rosanna Danna?)
