i took my German shepard down to the dog park today and it was his first ride in the Z and man i couldent stop laughing because he couldent handle the Tourqe he kept flying around in the front seat tryin to stay seated, he did seem to get the hang of it eventually and stuck his head out the window, it was just first gear he had trouble hanging on, I took him on the freeway also and gave him a fun ride. After that we made our way to the Dog park and all went well, Over all i think he had a blast today.....

I just installed my new steering rack into my 70Z. When I went to thread on the tie-rods, I noticed that neither side would thread all the way to the end. The left side has about a quarter inch and the right side is showing about an inch of thread. Has anyone else experienced this. Could it be that I have the wrong tie-rods (purchased them on Ebay) for this rack. Please help.

I'm encouraged to see in the latest MSA sales flyer that they have some new 240Z parts. Besides a new aluminum radiator and aluminum driveshaft, there's a modern fusebox. It's apparently made more durable than the original and uses modern plug-in fuses: http://www.motorsportauto.com/flyer/flyer_13.htm

Well I'm proud to say that as of 2 days ago I now own a 1983 280zx turbo. The car is absolutely beautiful. The previous owner bought it right from the dealership in my town 20 years ago, and was kept in the garage whenever it wasnt bieng driven. There is not a spec of rust on the entire car, and the paint shines like new. It also only has 145k original kilometers on it. This is my first car as well so I am very excited about getting it! On the weekend I'll post some pictures of it.
