Well I was excited, yet disappointed at the same time with this car... it's an 240Z.. with an '83 ZX turbo engine swapped in it... but there is no turbo.. he just used the turbo block and put on some dual webers... Can someone please explain why someone would do this.. other than the ease and affordabilty with Carbs? Anyway.. it's a very nice car, with 7 coats of Ford Red paint... nice airdam.... nice seats and interior... check it out

im in one of thows positions where im about to give up, to get the defect off of my zed i need to have proof of a professional rust removal job which has been estimated at $3000 aust (its all under the car and its bad) the outside looks fine. the defect list is long but the rest i can do with minimal cost. but ive only got $2000 to spend and i was planin on some upgrades to performance, whats the point in changing from a four banger that can drill a vp to a six that cant catch a vl. so im trying to find south australian rego plates from a 240zed that are registerable so i can have my baby, this is proving extreemly hard. can anyone help, im willing to pay for legal plat…

Gotta tell somebody, the wife don't care After sitting 14-15 years waiting, the Z fired up tonight! Changed the oil, greased the cam and dumped a couple of quarts of oil over the gear train. Turned it over for a couple of minutes with no plugs (30 seconds on 2 minutes off) to get the oil up and around. Put in new plugs and pulled the trigger. She fired right up but wouldn't idle, found the problem to be clogged idle jets (tripple webbers), cleaned them up and now she runs just like when I put her away. Can't believe it, figured I'd have a month of fussing just to get her to start and run. If I had brakes I'd take her for a drive! Love to hear her idle, nothing like th…

Pictures, 40 of them Okay so I am planning on doing a v8 swap, but that is aside from the point, I picked this car up for 900 dollars Canadian, Most of the interior is Mint. Alot of the parts are in excellent condition. Nothing is really staying stock except for the shell, aside from flaring the rear and front again. So here's the plan, I want to keep this car, most of the frame and body is in pretty decent condition, but there is some rust which concerns me. The floor boards are gone, but rust has not spread to the drive tunnel. There is a little bit of rust in the engine bay on the frame, but not that much, as you can see in the pics. There is no rust anywhere else…

There are a couple of us in USA who have Fairlady Z cars and have a devil of a time with parts. Does anyone know of a good source for Fairlady Z parts, 1970's cars? For instance, I'd LOVE to get a new pair of windshield wiper arms!! Thank you!!!

If you live in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin or anywhere near or in between any of these locations please help me out if you can. I called Just Dashes and they want $800 to restore my dash, I can buy one from MSA for that. I need to know if there is anyone in the above areas that does dash restoration...NOT just putting a dash cap on the old dash. PLEASE help me out here, money is tight (as always) and I'm not sure I'll be able to send my dash off to Aust. with the other members like I had hoped.

Check out my latest gallery upload. One of the local Nissan dealers just happened to trailer over a 350Z roadster to the Georgia Z Car club meeting last night. While I took many photos of it I figured you guys might be interested in this one as it contains a regular posting member of this club in the foreground: http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=6375&password=&sort=7&thecat=997
