Ok another silly question. (too much time on my hands. I'm sure I'm spending more time at work on this site than actually working. Zed mania!!!). When I put the foot down hard in my 260 I can occasionally smell some fumes coming into the car. I think I have tracked the source down and it will be sorted soon. I have noticed that on the early z hatches there are two vents, so the question is that if the aerodynamics of the early zeds are that fumes are "sucked" towards the car, how would this affect those vented holes and where do they breath to or are they just cosmetic? And whilst we are on the topic of vents; what are the side pillar vents for appart from the fact that …

Please take pity on the idiot. Is the oil filler nut on the T5 the large square nut on the right side of the tranny? And what type of fluid is used in the clutch lines and differential? Thank Yew

Hi everyone, I have a question for you. Why do my wipers move so slowly? I have take the linkage out and cleaned the bushings/etc and re-lubed them and it made no difference. There does not seem to be any restrictions in the linkage at all but yet the wipers move at a snails pace. Is this normal? Would a new motor help? Any other options? I dread driving in the rain, not only because I dont want to get my car wet [] but also because I can barely see through the windshield. Thanks for any advice. ROOPZ

Put in a nice $300 Alpine stereo last week and was continually warning my son to lock the doors and hatch, lower the antenna, and detach the stereo face every time he left the car. So night before last at about 11:00 pm I went to Walmart and even took the faceplate in with me. I put it in the basket I was carrying and got my stuff and checked out at the self check-out register. Went out to the car when I realised I had left the faceplate in the basket in the store. Ran back(gone approximately one to two minutes), but basket had been put away and nobody had seen the faceplate. Amazingly, my son was not very amused when I related the story(since he bought the stereo). …

Hi guys! Unfortunately due to personal reasons I have to sell the Z! Its a 2+2, 76' with a great engine(!), 5 spd box, good interior (no carpet though!), new clutch, new discs up front and new drums up back ($), original alloys, oil catch can (custom), ramflo air filters, sunroof etc..anyway, I want $3500 for it, its currently unregistered and it has no RWC, but thats cause I was doing it up! It has some rust in the sills (and a little bog in the sills), and a chip behind the left headlight scallop on the fender...its not perfect by any means, but a great project, or a brilliant spares car...I also comes with the original air intake and a restored steering wheel. If …
