Here is a picture of a id-tag on 1975 kgt . khlgc110. Seems to be number 000288. These cars are rare here in Finland. Is there anything special about this car? I know that it was imported to Finland in 1977 by a UN peacekeeper.

Forgive my newbie question but what are the advantages of an e31 head over the e88 if any? i have an l26 block/e88 head that is stock except for headers. i do plan on doing some mods to the engine but nothing huge. there is a e31 head that is for sale and i just heard that they are really rare so i was wondering if i should pick this up.

Well.. after I saw this picture I was like.. damn those looks nice on that car... so I thought about the rims on my 280Z.. but I know that the offset is different and it has 5 lugs rather than the 4 on my 280Z... Does anyone know where a person can get the rubber boot type seal that the hatch hinge sits in? Nissan isn't sure if it comes with the hinge and not certain they can even get the hinge. MSA and VB don't show the part in their catalogs, that I can find. I've checked online, nothing. This was the only reason my '75 had any rust, water came in there and eventually rusted through the sheet metal below, then the floors, etc., etc.! What is everyone doing about this seal? I don't want to let it rust again! I haven't found any good used ones, either. Thanks.

I was watching MTV yesterday, and I noticed that on Snoop Dogg's show... "Snoop Doggy Fizzle Televizzle"... there was a skit where he was playing a PiMp naturally and he lived in the ghetto... and there was an 280ZX.. white in beautiful condition, but they ripped off the passenger door and rear window.. and put on black trash bags, to make it look like it was a sitting pile of junk, or going through restoration outside. made me sad

Just had to tell someone. My brother-in-law gave me his 1972 240 Z. I drove down this weekend and picked it up. Drove it home, over a 300 mile trip, with no problems. It's got a lot of rust, but is complete. Now I need to find parts and learn how to do body work. One happy guy!

Here's the story, bought this car in '80 in Calif one owner, brought it to Indiana and did a complete rebuild on engine and drivetrain, suspension, a friend had it for a year painting it. I got married.... kids came, couldn't afford a new interior and parked it for the winter (a 14 year winter) in the garage. I can afford the interior now but... it's been sitting for 14 years or so... Breaks are rusty, and don't work, clutch doesn't work, fluid evaproated and left some great gunk behind. Gas tank smells like hell's kitchen, the carbs are stuck (tripple webbers), luckly the motor turns and isn't stuck, the oil is clean. Springs are pretty flat, at least I would expect mor…
