well, I just want to say hi to all you guys in the z-car world. I am hopefully gonna find a good project car and become a z-car owner. I was hoping you guys could tell me what the best way to learn about these cars is. I currently have a daily driver honda with some mods on it, and that car is easy to learn about b/c they still make them, but it seems that resources on z-cars are quite a bit harder to come by. Thanks for the help!!

Hi Guys, I stumbled across an E30 head today. The only info I could find out about them is that they came on the Japanese 2 litre 6 cyl motors. But the head is here in Australia!?! Is this something I should go and get before someone realises it (i.e. it's rare or something)? Any ideas how it differed from E31? Help appreciated, I'm stumped on this one!

Hi guys, Taking MIG welding this semester and was talking to my welding instructor today about capability of MIG welding. I informed him that I want do MIG on auto body, rotisserie, and custom roll cage. He told me MIG won't be strong enough for any structural support, i.e. rotisserie. He suggested to use Arc welding instead. So for those who had build their own rotisseries, which welding technique did you use? Is MIG good enough for building a roll cage? Can TIG be used on rotisserie and roll cage? Thanks -Guycali

Hi All, just thought that there may be a few of you guys that would be interested in this. RB26DETT 240Z complete with the ATTESSA 4WD system from a GTR Skyline. Note the extensive body mods, both the rear and the front end of a GTR have been grafted to a S30 shell. http://www.komycars.jp/drag/z.html Cuong Nguyen

I would find it very helpful if someone (who had lots of time on their hands) would put together a list of Z parts that we are at one time or another are in need of, and what the part status is and where to find them. For example if I was looking for a horn button for a 1972 Z, the list might indicate that Nissan no longer makes the part and there is no known stock on hand. Check used part sources. Or if I was looking for a new front emblem the list might indicate the price and part number of the part through Nissan, or to check the following after market sources.... Ideally, this list would be held and updated on this web site and everyone would be able to add to it as …
