Thought I'd fly this up the flagpole and see who salutes. As many of you would know, I am currently parting out my 2+2. One of the difficulties of such an exercise is knowing what to ask for the various bits and pieces. I don't want to rip people off but by the same account, I don't want to be ripped off either. Would there be any value in having an area among the club pages where members could log the prices paid for spares along with a simple condition descriptor so that when we go to buy or sell stuff we are paying/asking a fair price. Submitted for discussion.

I am thinking about changing the wheels on my 260z. The ones that are on it now are the original(from the dealership in 74') mags, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me a legitamate price I could get for them. Three of the wheels are in great shape, and one has slight curb rash. I would include the tires, which only have est. 10,000 miles on them. The wheels are 14'' and they are polished. I would include the lugs and caps. If you would like to look at the wheels, take a look at my gallery. I am just asking what a fair price would be for them. THEY ARE NOT FOR SALE. Thank you. -Ben

Well I took my car to get tested today. I was shure that I would fail, but I needed a base line to start with. I expected to fail pretty much all around with my current set up of unsycronized, out of tune tripple delortos and a nice lumpy cam. As it turrned out, I passed on everything but HC's at idle. I got 941 out of 400 (cough..cough) but I figure I should be able to squeek by if I sync my carbs and do some fine tunning and more alchohol.

I am reinstalling back hatch window with new seal. I put the seal around the glass first then tried to put in window frame. Wont fit. Has anyone done this before. Should I be installing the seal to the hatch then prying in the glass. What is the proper procedure? Thanks Mark

News from MSN: The Nissan 350Z ranked at the top of the list of sports cars most popular with shoppers on MSN Autos last month. The list of the ten most popular sports cars on MSN Autos is based on monthly visits to the site's vehicle research pages. Almost immediately after it went on sale, the 350Z rocketed to the top of the sports car list. The 350Z is powered by a 287-horsepower V6 engine mated with a standard 6-speed manual transmission. The quintessential American "pony car," the Ford Mustang was the second most popular sports car. For 2003 Mustang offers the Mach 1 with a 305-horsepower 4.6-liter V8 and the SVT Cobra powered by a supercharged V8 that produces 39…

G'Day you lot, I'm BACK. Had trouble with the server. The All Classic Motor Club of Central Queensland, (of which I am a member), has it's annual Classics by the Coast this Sunday and, for the FIRST TIME, I have entered "Precious" to dazzle the eyeballs of all who gaze upon her beauty. WISH ME LUCK. So far there are over 150 entries and more are expected to nominate on the day. There will be Classics, Vintage, Bikes of all marques. Looking forward to it. Rick.

I am currently working on the front suspension and steering. I pulled the "pivot" bolt holding the front control arm to the body but am having a hard time removing the bushing. Does anyone know any "tricks of the trade" on how to get them out. Mark

  Hi, Y'all. (I think that's the southern states of the U.S. of A's way of saying G'Day Mate). Well. "Precious" has spent all day today using all her charm and beauty trying to win the hearts of as many people as possible. (She's a bit of a tart). I had three offers to buy her, many took photos of her and there were many comments praising her curvatious body. She didn't win any prizes unfortunately. People's choice went to a bloody great gas guzzling yank tank called a Lincoln something or other that won the people over by raising and lowering the front end on it's air suspension. The entrant's choice was a 1976 K.B. Chrysler Centura. I must admit, tha…

Is there anyone out there who can help with some info about 76 Z's? Possibly in the Metro Atlanta area. I can't find any good info online for vacuum diagrams. My manuals aren't helping.
