Perhaps a problem? I recently bough two new ball joints for my, august ’70, 240Z part number 40160-A8625. http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=40160-A8625&Category_Code=s30_nismo_z-steering-knuckles Problem is however, the thread has changed! The old one has M14 x 1.5 and the new has M14 x 125!! Does this ring a bell to anybody? It’s very hard to find that kind of nut, specially a crown? nut. It would be a great help to get the Nissan part number.

Looking at changing my 240 points distributor to electronic by ripping one off a 280zx. I have found one on an AUTO car with an E12-80 black box on the side, is this OK or do I need a manual car. This site : http://www.geocities.com/zgarage2001/engine.html seems to infer that I need a manual one. Anyone know if an auto's dizzy will do the job?

Today, 24/05/03, at 16:08, I handed over the keys to my Z. Yes, I am now officially Z-less. Didn't last long, huh? I just want to say, I know I have this so called Z bug, but I will try to fight it as best I can in the years to come! Not to say I dont ever wanta Z again - as soon as I can afford it I'll get another, just at this time I simply can't. I'd rather it went to someone who would be able to put money into it and fix it up. So, guys, please dont rub it in too much. I mean all those latest pics in the gallery will be more than enough (thank you Alan!) without your taunts ... :disappoin I can beat this thing, dammit !

What is your dream Z? Are you the guy who dreams of a flawless original interior? Are you the guy who wants a race car for the weekend? Or are you the ZX driver proving you car to us early Z owners while we Zyoucruise? Are you a Zed murderer and destroy your Z so we could find pics of it on ebay after it breaks down on you so much you have to sell and we post pics to throw up seeing it? I dream of a Flared out blue 70-71 1/2 240z w?10" wide custom racing wheels i've seen on some cars, L28ET/modded out, 280z 5speed and an R200, roll cage and no compromises. Still trying to keep the interior looking as stock as swaybars and a roll cage will allow. While owning a…

HI ALL, just have to tell you all 'cause I am SOOOO exited! Please all you Aussie members, let some of the others guess this one 'cause it will be way too easy for you guys. Well the new car to join my fleet is (going to give you clues now) ... Nicknamed Godzilla because it dominated the Group A Touring Car Championship, winning 29 races it contested, before the rules were changed to basically stop that model car from ever race again. Priced at AUD$110,000 when new, its makers had to sell 100 cars locally in order to homologate the car for racing. (there are many more sold around the world, but not officially in Australia, only the 100, all the others are grey imports) …

Have stock '72 z. When idling the temp moves nicely and stays at dead center. When travelling, temp gauge goes back to zero. What should I look for. I've already replaced the t-stat. Thanks.

I want to know what those of you with mildly built motors are running for a muffler, and on what size pipe? I'm looking at Auto-x events and I need to make my non-muffled car 'neighborhood friendly' I currently have an unknown header 6 into 1, 2.5" back to the rear diff, then a 3" S-pipe (non mandral bent) to snake through the rear suspension, followed by no muffler at all. Too damn loud! It does make mechanics grin like idiots though. I can get Flowmasters from Summit racing with a 3" in and out. Do I need a muffler than comes in High, Center, or Low, and does it need to exit High, Center, or Low to go out the stock valence hole? I've already read the tips about downturn…

Hi, my name is Chris and I'm new, I have been a fan of Datsun/Nissan in general for about 2 years now. I have been on www.northwestnissans.com for a long time now but they didn't have much about Datsun so I found your Z site and decided to join, I'm hoping to meet a lot of people and expand my knowledge of the Z car.

Generally speaking what would you expect to get if you were to buy a head from an individual?
