Your efforts would be greatly appreciated, thank you. --Jerry jbrockm@webtv.net rpms/transmission question Date:___May 5, 12:55pm "here is my rpms/speed with a 3.54 diff. on my 76z with a 79 trans@2500 rpms i was about the same as it shows on the transmission calculator..15,25,42,55,and then 5th is 65(my readings)---i put in a 81-83 trans and i got 15,25,38,50,55----according to the calculator there is no z transmission that would give me these rpms.---i should be at 72 in 5th.---------it sounds as if i have an intake leak now and i added headers…

I work in Santa Barbara, California. Today, while crossing the street to get my daily lunchtime smoothie, I see a pristine silver 1957 Mercedes Benz 300 SL gullwing waiting patiently for the light to turn green. The light changes and masterpiece slowly drives up State Street. I watch the people on the sidewalk go about their business oblivious to the fact that a $300.000 plus classic legend has driven by. The distinct tone of the fuel injected slant six made everything around me silent. It made my Monday.

Hey, just got finished with watching my favorite non-paid cable show, "the shield." In this particular episode an accident unfolds at an intersection. A 280ZX rear ends a luxury car. The driver of the Z attempts to apologize for his action, the other driver responds with "yeah, that's easy for you to say, you drive a piece of $^!#." Not good.---Jerry

i was searching for a 87-89 Z31 turbo differential and during my search at one of those parts locator places the guy that was on the phone tells me that the infiniti M30 90-93 has a R200 LSD just like the Z31 turbos if this were true that would mean a new source for LSD's but i have yet to find anyone that can verify this. is there anyone out there that knows if this is true or not. i was told if it wasnt that they would pick up all shipping charges but its the hassle i dont want to go threw with and i have found a different source that has them much cheaper. can anyone here tell me if this is true or not? thanks for any assistance

was the most hilarious thing i have ever seen in my life. a 96+ cavalier with the cheby emblem removed and in its place siR. it was hysterical i couldnt help but laughing. i think i mad the guy mad too. at the light he revved it to about 5k and tired to burm out and couldnt so in the clutch went again till i would assume about 6k and he got a little bit of a chirp. worst yet is he wanted to race after that. god i tell you it was to funny if you could only have seen it all you would be roflyfao. the things you see on the road today

Hi All, I went to see this great documentary style movie that Michael Moore won an Oscar for. It was called Bowling for Columbine (he is the author of the book "Stupid white men" and the guy behind the documentary series "The awful truth") It is about the US and its love for guns... Has anyone else seen this movie? I would like to know what you all thought of it and also what you guys think of the US gun laws? I thought it was really "interesting" and at the same time disturbing!

Just managed to crack her open today....Stripped the interior to see how bad she was. It seems the rust genie has waved her twizzle stick over a few areas. Is this car worth saving? steve77
