Just curious what everyones home page is. Please post links to make it interesting. Mine was Google up until recently. Now I've gone back to an old favourite How Stuff Works. This site should be used on an almost daily basis by everyone. You learn a tonne of things and well presented explanations are easy to pick up by the simplest of minds (read: me):cheeky: The Auto section is fantastic!

well i got my first kill. I have been getting crap for the last two months from my moms boyfriend. He bought a 65 ford fairlane in the winter. It has a 289 and its a automatic. He got the rust fixed and painted and just put on a new carb last night. Almost everyday of the week there is some type of "reality" show on TV.... not that they really show anything that even closely resembles reality in anyones lives or anything that will or might happen in the majority of our lives... Now, we have a new one soon to be released on us. Hosted by none other than the biggest joke in the last 10 years, a brunette "Miss Piggy" who never learned how to have her clothes dry-cleaned. The email gives reasons why those companies should be boycotted by Americans. I will NOT post it on this site. If anyone wants a copy, email me and I'll send it to you. Ok... I have a 280zx electronic dizzy fitted to the L26 (carbed)...now, I went to get a new coil, but after reading the bosch catalogue for the part no....being that it now has elec. ignition I was going to use a coil without a ballast resistor, but I read in the bosch coil catalogue that I should use a coil with one...is it just me, or shouldn't I use a coil without one? Is the 280zx dizzy incapable of it, is bosch stupid or am I mad?! I have always KNOWN the HEI ignition has no need for a low voltage output due to the fact that there are no points to fry, so whats going on? Cheers ppl!!:stupid:

Went to look at a 70. Pretty good shape. No rust. (But one troubling thing.) Owner started it up a few times and it fired up right away, nothing unusual. It sat for 15 - 20 minutes while I looked it over and asked many questions. Owner fires it up again and a cloud of white smoke comes out of the exhaust. Ask about it but his reply was "what smoke". Being a newbie I think a new engine or at least a rebuild. Any opinions?
