i just got my z yesterday. Wow it looks good. But on the way back I noticed that the car had no heat. i tried changing he settings and i did get some out of defrost but still got cold air out of the panels. Now this may not be a problem for you california guys but I need it up in winterpeg. The only thing I noticed was a small leak at the top of the rad, and I could smell antifreeze in the car. Also I noticed that the accelerator is really stiff. Is it supposed to be like that? I cant press it gradually. Its not all bad though, when i press the gas I have to floor it all the time! oops! Did I do that burnout? jason tks

Hey all, this may be a stupid question but like my dad used to say there are no stupid questions only stupid people. Well anyway I was wondering if anyone in the club has sources for some of the "exotic" japenese parts such as wantanabe wheels, The dohc motors(LY series) etc. It seems that there should still be some of these parts out there and that they would make really cool retrofits to early Z cars. G'day Californian Zee owners From Down Under. My Brother is up from Australia and is in California untill the 11th of April. I occured to me that he might be able to get a few bits of trim for my 240z that are nearly impossible to find in Australia. I'm after: 1 x Front hood emblem 2 x side datsun emblems 1 x choke lever handle and the 2 plactic cover things that go in the door latch lever thing (one for each door). So if you have an old parts car sitting around the garage or some old bits in a box you dont need, send me an email and i'll see if i can get my brother to pick them up for me. Preferrably cheap or free. Only have 2 weeks to arrange it before he leaves. zed24…

hi guys, i have a 72 240 and i have a question about the idle. the car starts at about 700 rpms but when it warms up, it runs at 1100 rpms. I did a quick search on the forums and i found that the manual say 650 is good but most people run at 800-900? How do i go about readjusting the idle? Thanks in advanced guys.
