With every good work in progress there should be a website to document the progression of your efforts. I have now launched my own website documenting the restoration project on my 1970Z. Feel free to check it out at www.my70z.com Mark

I found a 260Z and paid $300 for it since it has a few of the parts I need to replace. Great seats in mint condition too:) I am going to strip the hell out of the rest of the car so if anyone has a 260 they need parts for let me know. Most of the body is shot but the interior and under the hood does not look bad at all.

Am posting this again but in different forum. Hoping to figure out if I have the wrong shroud or if I have a different radiator than came with the car. The following are my two posts and one response: 1. Trying to find a radiator shroud for a 1973 240z. I believe I may have been burned on Ebay when I purchased one that said it was for 240z. When I tried to attach it, it would only fit if I forced it against the lower radiator hose enough to partially collapse the hose. The top of the shroud also is too tight against the curved metal flange(guard?) at the top of the radiator. Purchased the car without a shroud, so I don't really know what the proper shroud would look li…

You bloody beauty, Picked up my Zed from the paint shop yesterday and, of course, immediately went for a cruise. Turned a few heads but there wern't many people around. Spent today refurbishing the old girl (the Zed that is), Did the interior first then the outside, new badges, freshly rechromed bumper bars etc. Went for another cruise this afternoon. Being Saturday there were lots of people around. Quite a lot of interest shown. One young fella in his you beaut souped up Torana nearly rear ended another car. Old bloke about my age kept on walking and looking at my Zed instead of where he was going and bumped into a garbage bin. It's good fun. My Zed is the only o…

I am after a set of decent 15 x 6-1/2 or 15x7 inch wheels for the Z. Naturally, being married with children I have very little funding but am willing to travel to get these. Any one help:cry:

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone has seen any zcars with the Fikse Fm-10 17" rims, or have any images of such rims they could share with the class???? After seeing them on a variety of 911s,I think a set would look sharp on the z (provided of course you're willing to shell out the $$$$). ....back to march madness!!! Cheers, Paul

Hello- I'm wondering how a restoration of a 240Z would go? I am fond of the early 70's ones. I'm looking to do a full restoration, possibly an engine swap. What have you guys swaped in? How hard was it? How long did it take you? How much money did it cost you? I basically need the down low on these cars before I get myself into something over my head. Thank you for your help, it is much appreciated Tyler

Well, I saw my first glimpse at a 350Z driver today. Saw this car at Uni once, but today I saw it driving! I followed it for a while, until I was side by side at a traffic light. I looked over, and there was this 20-30 year old with glasses and a bit of a tough guy look, staring straight ahead. Hhmmph! I kept looking, waiting for him to turn around so I could give him the thumbs up, but to no avail. As he quietly hummed off around a corner and under a bridge, I felt it was time to go home. 350Z Driver Type 1: Young businessman who desperately wants to look cool, and knows absolutely nothing about the history of the Z (See also 300ZX Driver type 4, 1989). Who else ca…
