well about 3 weeks ago my 240z slowly died on the road till it had no power then eventually shut off, got it towed home and kept trying to get it to start till the battery died, so i recharged the battery yesterday after not messing with it for about 2 weeks and it still wont start up, i replaced the coil and tested to see if im getting spark and indeed i am, the SU's were taken apart and cleaned not too long ago, its getting fuel and should be getting air but all it does is just turn over and over and wont even seem like it wants to start. if u guys could give me anymore ways to trouble shoot or opinions they would be appreciated....thanks

Did you purchase your rotisserie or construct it? If you purchased it, where and you guessed it, how much.

Hey Carl, I saw that you were from pleasanton and thought I would say hi! My father lived in Livermore till he passed away. I moved out there to take care of him in his last few months and ended up staying there over a year. It's a long story. Anyway I really loved everything about the area (except the high cost of living-housing etc. and really miss the nice weather you get there. Anyway just thought I'd say hi! I'm a new member and have been reading some of the forums and appreciate your sense of humor.

All, my stress level has gone down by 120%! I picked up my car yesterday after a 6 month long shop time, and it is running so good, I can't even tell you how happy I am. In my last post I explained the problems I was having with Wheels of Fortune in Denver and ended up moving shops to Rallye Sport(Jeff Winters). Jeff had my car up and running in no time! I then took my car back to Wheels of Fortune to show the damage to my car that occured there, talked to the owner, he is going to do what ever it takes to get it taken care of. He didn't hastle me, give me grief, or anything, just accepted it and said he was sorry. Just want to say thanks for recommending Rallye Spo…

Some BMW made an illegal u-turn right in front of me and there goes my front end. Was able to drive it home and it does not appear any damage was done to the frame. Air Dam, Right Front Panel, Headlight Casing and Part of the hood all destroyed. Cop wrote $1500 estimate for repairs on the accident report. Yeah right. try $1500 just in parts. Only good thing is he was fully insured and cited for the illegal turn. Never fails just when you get your Z in great condition some idiot screws it up. Will post the lovely pics later.

YO all My new Z club has acquired posters of the IMSA GTP cars and an assortment of Steve Millen car posters. They are for sale. See our web site at ZROC.org. The club is for Z cars and Datsun Roadster owners in Ohio. Most are in central Ohio. I have the IMSA poster framed and resting infront of and below my TV. I had to cut off the left edge and overlay it onto the poster so it would fit a standard poster frame. It looks great. :classic: :classic:

Hi there everyone! I was just wondering if any one has attended a technical school such as uti or wyotech? I am trying to convince my parent to let me go to wyotech instead of Hillsdale college. The only reason I want to turn down a prestegious school like that is that I have an obsession with cars. I've been like this pretty much for as long as I can remember. I like school and learning thigs also, but not as much as I like cars. Naturally, after completion of wyotech's 12 program I would persue a career in the automotive field. That is if I'm not recruited by one of the manufacturer's. In which case, I will go on to the manufacturer specific training. So h…

Well after e-mailing mike 3 times we figured out what I did wrong and now no problems. I'm alot better with cars than computers! Also thanks to everyone who gave their opinion on my post: whether or not to restore or modify my 70 240. I think I going to go back as original as possible (wallet willing) but not obsess about every little detail to make it concours correct. Also just bought a 1971 240 from the second…

When my son started bringing his girlfriends home he would introduce me by saying "Watch out for him, he's a dirty old man" One day I came back with an answer that stopped him in his tracks. I said "No, you're wrong Ken, I've graduated, I'm now a DEVIATE" What am I leading up to you may wonder ? You'll see, just check out; www.flirtmodels.com.au/girls and www.1-800-posters.com See? If looking at photos of good looking women makes me a dirty old man, then, I AM A DIRTY OLD MAN Rick 1974 freshly painted Bronze 260 Zed Sports Coupe.
