I'm restoring my new founded 78 280z 2+2 in the Dallas area but I'm looking for someone or place to do the outside work, ie painting, priming, rust removal, small body work, etc, I'm not talented in these areas. I can pretty much do the interior stuff by myself. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience or could recommend someone or place to do this type of work in the Dallas area? Thanks in advance, David

I have a triple weber carb setup that I will never be installing on my car. The setup came with my car when I bought it about a 1 1/2 yrs ago. Don't have any history on them nor do I know their value. Make me an offer if interested. I am attaching a few pictures for you. This setup came off of an early 74 260z. PM or email me if interested and I will try to answer your questions. I can send more picts too but I will attach 4 or 5 now.

I remember a while back that we talked about a company called speedhut (on the web) that fabricates custom indiglo guages that you can design yourself. I thought this was a really cool idea and would be a neat little mod for those of us who arent hardcore fully restoring kind of people (not yet an my age anyways). They require that they have 20 pre-orders before they customly make them for the 240, 260, and the 280. I checked thier website the other day and there are 8 preorders. Only 12 more to go. Just a thought...no pressure :lick: Check them out, they are relatively inexpensive and you might like them... www.speedhut.com Steve

I remember two years ago I was responding to an ad for a 1970 240Z. I arrived ten minutes too late, no surprise either since the "asking" price was $500! I stood helpless staring at the red rocket as the new owner drove away. Ten minute! But, I did manage another 70Z for $640 and that's how it all began. The owner, a kid, just bought a Honda CRX and wanted nothing more to do with it. I couldn't close the rear hatch because this kid was so happy to see it go he started handing me every spare Z part he had. It was clear he wanted no trace of this car. He carried each part from his garage to the Z like it was road kill. The whole time wearing a smirk on his pimpled pin hea…

Bought another Z this afternoon!!!!!! This is the first time I have owned two consecutively. $800. Absolutely NO rust anywhere. Clean engine (doesn't run too well), 5-speed, alloys, rear discs, nice straight body, seats worn pretty bad, drivers torn, console broken. steve77

I have some tires/wheels for sale if anyone's interested. I have attached a picture and will follow with some more. I was thinking $150.00 is a good price for all 4 with lugs, you pay the shipping. They're BFGoodrich Touring series 195/70/R14's. Look at the picts and if interested send me a PM or email.

God, now I'm up to three! This is frightening. But this time I bought a 'real' one...a '71. Cost me $1. Has a bit of rust here and another bit there...didn't really look at it to hard today, just loaded it on the trailer and drove away. How hard can you look at a $1 car?!?!?! No motor, 4-speed, slotted mags, seats, but not much of an interior. Fun fun FUN!!! steve77/86/71
