I have one last item to renew to rid my engine compartment of the nasties. The grommet the wiper harness passes through, on the firewall. Mine is just a dried up lump of what may have been rubber at one time. None of the Vendors seem to carry this. As anyone replaced this piece? obviously, I will have to pull the unit and unwrap it from it's protective bag. Un-hook the harness and thread it through. I'd like an orginal Nissan piece but if anyone knows of something that will work in it's stead, please let me know.

My Z is far from completion, but it doesn't stop me from thinking ahead. What would be the best Datsun/Nissan based truck to make a nice Z carrier? Wouldn't it super cool to have something like Mercedes did in the 50' to carry their racecars around Europe? Keep them coming...

through much searching I am yet to find a company that will give the value of the 240Zs. Most of the popular ones (ex. KellyBlueBook) do not give prices for cars that are as old as the 240Zs are. Does anyone know where this information can be found?

Hi all, been thinking about getting a "Dream Garage" poster for my somewhat new garage. I've seen a few on eBay but thought I remembered reading about one of the Z clubs who were selling them, too. Anyone know? thanks -Bill

hello yall, I'm in Dallas Texas, and I'm looking for a drivers side door for my 71. It was crunched by a teenager in an SUV. All the body men say I need a good salvage part for them to prep, paint and put on. Anybody know where to find one? The original color is 110 Red. Thanks, Mike Graff

I'm planning to buy a 240Z & fit a SR20 DET for light weight & adequate power with good reliability & economy. Has anyone heard of this being done & what were the results like. I would like to know how much weight I would be saving over the original setup. Does anyone know how this will affect the front/rear wight distribution. In addition can you give me any tips as to other work required. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

I have recently purchase a 1971 240z. It is in reasonable condition (body wise) but requires a full mechanical rebuild. It has a close ratio 5 speed and a E31 Head. Have been told this is a rare Model, only 1000 made. Is this correct and did they only come into Australia? Would like to catch up with some people in Perth Western Australia so I can get some ideas on the best way to improve my cars handling and power. Don't want to do anything to radical as I would like to keep the car as authentic as possible. Have basic mechanical skills and full access to a workshop. Are there any 240z clubs in W.A or should I join the sporting car club? Would appreciate any info. Cheers …

I have 71 with original air conditioning. (Presume dealer installed but came with the car) Original owner claims it worked when the car was parked 14 years ago. During restoration, do I yank it all out? I don't need or want AC or is car more valuable with (non-restored) A/C? I am not going to go with the expense of fixing it. Thanks for advice. Will cost a couple of pics with questions from this weekend's work in the AM.... Thanks!
