Hey Guys Does anyone know where I can get my hands on an adjustable negative camber system (read cheap) which runs from 0 degree up to 5 degrees. I have heard of fixed systems but also shim setups. I guarantee that many cars in Qld (Aust) are currently building theirs just to beat me (read Rick Blundell). Need to keep an edge:geek:

I just inherited a 1976 Datsun 280z, and know basically nothing about it. The car is in great condition, and has low miles. What can you tell me about this car, what is it worth (considering it is a classic today...or so we're told). I have driven it once and liked it, but would like to have information on this car. Thank-you.. If you want to Email me, my address is Buzzbee916@aol.com I'll check back for your guys' imput. Cathy

Well I have finally got around to getting my web page on-line and for those that are interested there are some photo's of my 1971 240 daily driver and my 260 2+2 before the argument with the Ford Falcon which has been well documented elsewhere on this site. The photo's aren't too good because my scanner is broken and I got my digital camera after I had the smash in the 260. I haven't taken any digital photo's of the 240 yet as we are in the middle of a drought and we are not supposed to be washing cars so it is looking a little 'dusty' at the moment. The photo's I have posted are digital photo's of paper photo's. I have also posted some (digital) photo's of my project car…

Many of you remember I found the proverbial Z in a barn.... a California 71 240 with no rust. Has been parked for 11 years. I have done little with the car because of other issues in my life and feel pretty overwhelmed with the project right now. I don't know where to start. The car has some surface rust but nothing else that i have found. I've turned the engine by hand and all appears well in that regard. In what order should I do things to get her going? I've got bad tires, awful brakes and of course 11 year old gas. Any suggestions to get me off center? Gratefully, Derk

Hi all! Well, it's been over a month my babies have been hibernating, so i'm getting anxious to tinker. I've decided i want to replace all of the front bushings of my 260 with polyurethane. As i think about it, it seems time to purchase an air compressor as well as air tools to simplify the job (work smarter, not harder...). Question is, i'd like to get going on a low budget, but i need opinions about the compressor in particular. What sort of minimums as far as pressure, volume, etc.etc. Of course i'd love an eight hundred plus dollar permanent unit, but, it won't happen- so can i get away with a $119 2 gallon pancake, or what? I'd hate to waste $ on junk, but if i co…

Was it on this or thoroughbred classics that had small piece about some backyard salvation of an old 240z? I think it was in Australia?? Sound familiar? The car was taken apart for parts... It did even have the name of the buyer of the car... There was some discussion here about one backyard car..Is this the same?

Hey guys, I'm new here....lets see....hmmm....I'm thinking of purchasing a 240z, but I'm completely new to them. I used to own a '93 RX-7 Twin Turbo, but had to sell it because I could no longer afford to maintain it....damn, those things are expensive. Anyways, I was wondering whether anyone can direct me to a link or post that answers all the questions a newbie might have....such as reliability, cost of maintenance, and the different models and etc.....thanks alot. Oh, by the way, I'm looking for a 240z in SoCal...I have around $3500 Thanks!!
