Hello everybody You know that classic situation car A is turning left at a set of traffic lights, but has to stop to give way to car B, and car C drives straight into the back of car A while busy looking at car B? Unfortunately, car A was my 260Z coupe. The tail light trim panel and one reversing light was smashed in the impact so now is a good time to convert to 240Z tail lights, so if anybody has a set that would be great. Ok, the A/C in my car has been disconnected and discharged for as long as I have owned it, and as long as the previous owner has owned it as well(since 1984). I am doing a restoration on the car and have removed everything to sandblast the body. I dont have any intention of putting the A/C back in and have identified all the wires and components involved. My question: Is the heater blower and the A/C blower shared, or are there two seperate ones. Do I have to find a heater from a non A/C car and install it? This is an early 1974 Canadian model 260Z. I am guessing this has been done before so tehre will be someone out there who can help me. Thanks!

:classic: Between June '65 and June '66 I had the pleasure of meeting quite a few of you Yanks. They were members of the 173rd Airborne Brigade, based at Bien Hoa, South Vietnam. Now, while the main reason for this post is to wish all you ZED car blokes a Merry Xmas and an enjoyable and SAFE festive season, If any of you know someone who was with the 173rd. It all started on one hot and very late summer night. I had just gotten home from a very long shift at work so you have to understand that I was tired as hell, and all I wanted to do was crawl into bed and die. Anyway, I pull up into our drive, and I notice the passenger side window is down. Ok, I'm a fundamentalist..... a purist if you wiil. If the gov't had never jumped in and started adding rules and things we'd still have the 240Z in the new car lots. I also thank the good Lord that we live in a country that allows us the freedom to do what we want. Hey everyone- For those of you who like to make mod's, this one ought to peek your interests. I found this the other night in front of a small auto shop in the Denver area. We haven't had much snow here lately so there's probably not much use for this but maybe up north in the snowier regions you could make use of this concept. I'm really curious how well it works.
