Was just catching some HOT Neck-car action on SPEEDVISION. One of the only two real NASCAR races per season. It's so funny to see these guys navigate Watkins Glen! It's like these great, soft slugs or station wagons or something wallowing over the hills and around curves. They use EVERY POSSIBLE inch of the track. Still, it beats left, left, left, left...... steve77

For those interested, there is a pretty lengthy article on the new 350Z in Sport Compact Car. It's pretty favorable. They even broke out a 240 (silver) to photograph next to the 350Z. You can see similarities. They go through the specs, some interior shots, engine and a picture of the undercarriage, control arms (double wishbone and dyno tests. There's a follow up article where some guys have a 350Z for one week. guess what they do? Change wheels and tires, new coil over suspension, brakes and exhaust. Sound familiar? Sounds like half the people on this site!

Door latch

My driver's side door latch is continually catching or not allowing me to totally close my door without slamming it. I have adjusted, readjusted, re-readjusted this f*&%ing thing (strike plate on car body jamb) and tightened it as tight as I possibly can and it still moves. I've been using a large phillips screwdriver and a vicegrip on the handle to get extra leverage while leaning or pulling as hard as possible on the screwdriver once I think I have the strike plate aligned. I can get it adjusted for maybe 5 good, clean closes and then all bets are off. Sometimes it seems like if the window is rolled up it will work but if the window is down it won't work. What…

Well I saw my first 350Z add Sunday night (9/9/02) @~10:30PM during the show Law & Order. I did not think much of the add looks like the first one of a series to get you wondering just what kind of a car is this. It consisted of stills in silver tones. Has anyone seen anything else? How about you folks down under, UK or Europe?

I have noticed a unsettling problem with my suspension lately.... When I hit rough roads... Rough enough to make the tires bounce the rearend wants to move to the right... It sort of "Skitters" about an inch or so toward the curb. While this is not keeping me off hte road, I am planning a up on jack stands look at the rear suspension tomorrow. I wouldn Take any thoughts about similar issues you may have had on your cars... Thanks.

Hi all, just for a bit of fun, how about running a section called "Car of the Month". I think it would be a way for members to show that someone has done a great job of maintaining/restoring an S30 car. Maybe cars should be nominated by other members, or perhaps we can randomly generate 10 or 20 members' names each month and those can then be the candidates to be in the running that month (i.e. vote on those 10 or 20 cars). Ok, I begin with nominating Alan Thomas' car (HS30-H) I love that car.... Alan can I please have it when you get bored with it???? What do others think on this feature????

Hello Z nutz, I figure a intro is due . I am a old Z nut myself and look foward to gathering information on my Z project from you folks. I am a production/ site manager of a govt repair facility that repairs Army trucks. I have been a Z nut for sometime and currently have a 73 240Z, 280 low end , 240 head and round top carbs, 4 spd , I will have back on the road sometime next week but will continue to improve its looks as soon as the mechanical is complete.
