Hey everyone, anyone here own or drive a new mini-cooper? I'd like some opinions if so.. I am working on the wife for a new S-type (Umm, no, no luck as of yet) This car seems more like a Z than the "new Z"! 2300lbs, 163HP, independent suspension, and all at $22,500 loaded! So if you've driven/ridden in one- give me your take please. BTW, the wife's argument:" You have 2 Z's and your F150, and i'm still driving this 7 year old mini-van...":tapemouth Any ideas to win her over on this (other than buying her a van?!) Zya all, Jeremiah

Time to talk dollars. Many of you have thousands into your cars. What budget changes would you make if you had it to do all over again? What changes would you have made? What would you have avoided, and where would you have spent more or less? As I'm sure you have all figured out, it's time for me to present a budget outline to my accountant (wife). Who actually is my accountant.

I heard that a guy bought(won) the first 350Z(VIN#000000001) in the United States for $95,000! Personally i think it was a waste to buy it for that much, but hey if you have the money. I suppose i would too, just for the novelty of being number one. What do guys think?

Just need the center caps, having a heck of a time finding them. Planning on restoring a set, I love the look but need the caps. The caps from the 14" wheels are a bit too small. Have a great day!

Not knowing too much abour Ford powerplants, I have always wondered about this. You can hear a 'stang coming a mile away. The motor sounds unlike anything else. It doesn't matter if they have Flowmasters or Dynomax or anything else, they just sound different (although the aformentioned really accentuate them). I'm talking about the Fox mustang and onwards (early 80's or so)....Is it the intake? Lately I have heard a few really late model F-body's that sound somewhat like the mustang. Close, but not exactly. steve77

Hey, I have had several people ask about any Z Clubs in the Inland Northwest. The only clubs I know about are over on the coast. Anyone interested in starting a forum on here for us Inlanders ? Mainly Idaho , Montana, Eastern Washington , Utah and parts of Oregon. Lots of events in these areas for us to attend and pass on the information. Let me know your thoughts on this one. I am up in Coeur d' Alene ,Idaho and will be autocrossing and hillclimbing all over the inland Northwest next year.

Ok, pardon my Stoopidness :stupid: Just decided to check the numbers on the block and head (due to Beandips' question on it....) and yes, I never have lookied into the number, which is what I usually do first, go figure... SO, have been told that Nissan made a "racing" motor that was an L20 and also the Fairlady had the same engine block in it as well (according to the tech guys at Beaverton Nissan). So it's over to you guys, the true professionals. L20 Block and N70 head.... Has great power but the carbs suk. (Flat tops) Help! Need info. (now I really need to put those round tops on....) Thanks all, have a safe weekend! Brian.
