Hasn't ANYONE ever fitted weathershields to a Zed ?????????? If so, what make and model will fit a Zed?????. American translation;;;;;;;;;;;; Clear plastic thingies that are fitted to the doors, that deflect the wind and rain, allowing the windows to be wound down. your Z, keep it original. Rick.

OK, it is pretty well documented here and elsewhere my preference for the 75-78 body structure. So it weighs a bit more and blah blah blah...weight is easy to lose: plain and simple it is a stronger body.....The problem of course being the complete IMPOSSIBILITY of registering a 75-78 body here in CA with a motor that puts out any sort of pleasant umph. How hard would it be to simply switch numbers? Who is going to know? I always do something radical with the bumpers anyway. How else could anybody tell? without weighing it or having a Master's degree in Nissan manufacturing techniques and history? The 70-73 body is identical to all but the most trained eye. Just bu…

I'm looking for a R200 rear end to go on my 74 260. I *thought* that only the Z's had them but I've seen some from other newer Nissan's that people sell to go on the Z's. What different cars could I rip this out of? Also what other parts would I need to finish the conversion?

I have been looking around for a car I could turn into an SCCA Autocrosser. Imagine the look on my face when a friend told me that he knew a guy that had to get rid of 2-1977 280z cars. I have virtually no experience with these cars except that I have always admired their lines, and thought one would be fun to own. Now I have two. THinking one would end up a parts cars, I investigated each car to find the "parts cars". Neither of these cars qualify for parting out. Both are in relatively excellent condition (for a remodel) very little rust on one, none on the other. Both run well, just need alot of love. I paid $100.00 for both. Yep, 50 bones apiece for these beaut…

I started out taking off the cowling between the hood and the windshield. Just out of curiosity. I figured lets take a look. After I removed it I noticed there was a little bit of rust, so I figured I would get some POR 15 and take care it. While I was cleaning out the leaves and rest of the compost I ended up taking out the entire windshield wiper system. From the motor to the arms everything. I noticed the arms were a little difficult to move by hand. So I started to take the arms apart. I cleaned it up and am getting ready to paint (the arms). My question is what kind of grease should I use on the arms? Hope I can remember how it all goes back together.

Taken from the latest VORRA newsletter. ( not many will know what that is ) Wheel travel: The amount of miles a person covers when searching for parts. Shocker: A very average looking race car. Rack: What your arms feel like they have been on when you have no power steering. Roll cage: A tubular structure to house animals. Turbocharger: Same to Superdiff as kryptonite to superman. Sump: Area to collect metal o…
