Question... does anyone have a recomendation for venting a fuel cell. I connected a hose to the vent fitting and ran it out through the floor in the drivers rear fender.. Lately I have noticed that it looks like fuel is either sloshing up and out through the vent, or it is evaporating and condensing in the vent. But there is obiously fuel escaping from the vent. Sorry I do not have a picture to post at this time. I can get one this evening.

Whats going on!? How come nobody is pre-ordering the speedhut gauges? I do not want to wait forever for those things...I think we need to spread the word a little bit more. They are not that expensive !

 There are quite a few unusual user names/handles/call signs used by members. I thought it might be interesting for us to share with the rest of us your reasons for choosing your call sign. For example; I use 1 Bravo 6 because I served in 1 Battallion, Bravo Company, 6 Platoon. What's yours???????????????????????????? your Z. Keep it original Rick.

Thanks to you all for the GREAT info about the 240Z. There are some pics up in my picture place. Any more info you could give would be great. Are the rear brake drums supposed to be "finned" like Porsche stuff? Are they Aluminum, with a steel, or cast iron insert? The car has no visible rust, but it's pushed up against the wall of the garage, and the tires are flat so it's hard to see the belly, and under the rockers. But it's been here in the So. Cal desert area it's whole life, and in a garage since '84. It's definately never been hit, and I couldn't even see any minor body dents. It has an overrider bar going between the 2 front bumper guards (on the top), is that dea…

Are all four coil springs interchangable between a 73 240z and a 77 280z? If not, any suggestions where to get stock springs for a 73 240z reasonably? My 73 was lowered and I want to get it back to stock height.

OK, after years of searching, I found almost exactly what I was looking for! I just got a 1973 240Z with 29K (actually in kilometers at 46K) original miles. The car has quite the history and is a European car, it was custom built from the factory for a prince in the Netherlands to be a race car. I was told before I bought it, that it had a 4spd, but actually has a 5spd, just a 4spd shift knob, and that it does have a LSD rear end(verified) but wasn’t sure what gear ratio or what rear end it was. The motor is comprised of a L24 block and E31 head currently fed by triple Webbers. I received with the car a ton of extra parts, including a set of 3 Delorto carbs. I w…
