I put an EI distributor from an 81 on my 73 the other day. I used the directions found in zgarage2001. Everything went fine. I tried to fire her up, turned the key, nothing, it turned over but no fire, then when I let the key go it fired right up. Kind of like it wasn't getting any juice with the key cranked all the way in the start position. What am I doing wrong?

Anyone know what the gear ratio is for a 1984 Maxima 5-speed? The not so local bone yard has an R200 from one but before I ride 1-1/2 hours to see it I would like to know the ratio. I am looking for a reasonable R200 either 3.90 or 4.11 to put into my '72 240. I am in Raleigh NC if anyone in the area has one they wish to part with.

Just got home from the shop thats doing my 240Z and took some shots of the rides there doing now. Sorry about photos but its night and poor lighting where the vette was. This is A twin turbo 92 corvette on N.O.S. They did it all there. The other is A nice lil parts runner with the stang getting set for paint. The work on my hood is set to start in the morning. I should have the whole car there by june. Waiting for A space to open up.:devious:

Im planning my next project as I aquired another 73 240Z for an amazing price, with virtually no rust, Im not joking. Anyway I thought about the infamous L28TT but its true its custom everything and I DONT have the funding. Does anyone have information reguarding RB motors? I've been quoted $1252 US, for a 94 RB25DET+ gear box. I understand its comming from New Zealand, Just want an idea (a.) if they can be ordered; if so from where, and is this is a complete motor i.e. head and all or short block, and (b.) At what price, including shipping. Thanks all
