   Has any one tried to recover their plastic panels with vinyl? I talked to a guy that recommended this to me instead of trying to replace the old cracked ones. I was wandering if any one has pictures of what this will look like.

   alright so im buying a z in the near near future for the intent to swap in a v-8 and make it a drag/somewhat show car for local shows... and i was wondering which should i get out of the three... theres a 280ZX for sale up the road from me im thinking about buying... and which has the most aftermarket or substitutable parts like hoods, front ground effects ect. and which is best to invent my money into making a streetable racer money isnt an option though i got about 20g for the project im gunna gut the engine take the body off and start from scratch so which one fo the cars is my best option...and most importantly which has the largest engine bay

   Well, here http://www.newtier.com/graber/z-car/gauges.html the file is ziped and I have opened it and printed it but would clean it up some before putting it on photo paper to use. yes it fits but I would take them to A print shop for cutting and drilling.

    After looking around for a 240Z I found one. It is mostly stock and in good condition. I have had it for 3 weeks now and have been cleaning up some of the wiring. There were a few minor problems that I have been fixing on the weekends but nothing major. I got some pictures up of the car this weekend here is a link to them.     Just lastnight I had A group of guys over that have A speed shop/ custom body shop. We laid out the plan- There going to take the hood and cut & roll 2 openings one on each side of the front of the rise in the center of the hood making A hog-nose style hood scoop. side marker lamp holes welded/filled same with gas door and upper emblem holes. Now the gas tank I pulled yesterday morn. I am going with A 15 gal. fuel cell. In order to mount the cell they are going to cut out the drop down for the spare tire and weld in the hole making the hatch A solid flat area for the fuel cell.
